Festival billy no mates

me too. been down 10 years. only had company twice. Prefer it that way

We have hardcore of 4 who always go, then usually a couple of extras (different every year).

Not great when sharing a double room

Been going for years on my billy,however i have three mates wimme this year,all fez virgins and only coming because .....1 they see how buzzed up i get to go so want to experience it and 2.... I can open 3 accounts and have it right awffff yee harrr...at the cost of a beer

I often go to Newbury races on my own as i cant be bothered to ask around to see who is going, far easier to decide that you are going rather than worry about company.

In this day and age its really hard to find real hardcore racing fans but luckily i go with my brother to every festival and bump into many friends at cheltenham. Always meet super Kevin Watson and his dad on the Tuesday for a pint.

Always go on my own first two days, then a gang of mates descend for Thursday and Friday

I went to Newbury today on my own

But going with 25 others tomorrow

The great thing about the festival is that you can easily hide from your mates when you've had a last fence faller and they're all on the winner.

If I went, I think I'd probably be happy enough going on my own. I'm a selfish ***t, so like doing what I want when I want, and not having to plan around everyone else

When I go to the States, I always book to go out on my dates, and know that there will always be lads I know out there at the same time.

Best of both worlds that way, as you can get together for nights out or meals, and still do your own thing most of the time.
