Noticed min drifting from 3.25 to lay right out to 4.5 this morning. Backed the horse at 12/1. Like many of he goes then my book is looking seriously shot!

I see the back side filling up and only ones looking to back him are at huge odds.. Hopefully just a rumour

Jesus. Is 10.15 too early for a stiff drink?

Racing PostVerified account ‏@RacingPost  2m2 minutes ago - No problems whatsoever with Min, says Willie Mullins, despite notable drift on Betfair for Supreme this morning.

Never too early for a drink after seeing that! Think I had a heart attack watching that half hour drift!

If you have backed it at 12/1 i don't understand why people wouldn't lay for at least your stake at odds of 2/1 to 5/2. Your only losing 2-2.5 points and it is at the end of the day paying for insurance is it notConfused

Surely someone isn't trying to make it look like Min is being eyed up as a Faugheen replacementGrin

I doubt that very much, mins form is more than rock solid but I can't see it going for a champion after two novice runs. Going back to the 12/1 I didn't have much on then followed it down to 6/1. I also backed altior at 25/1 it's the fact of having 2-3 against the bookies to maximise profits

Back to 9/4. Backers can breathe again.

been on the drift for a while this horse and rightfully so considering the bulimic price he has been on here and with books

Managed to get some at 3.5 but plenty still on offer at 3.25 - I'm taking WPM's words about Min as genuine, others might not.

After dodging a bullet with faugheen there could be some massive prices floating about for the first day! Only another 25 days of worrying until it all starts, don't think I can take anymore alarms

I think this drift is beginning to be a concern for Min backers; it is reminiscent of that of Faugheen prior to the public announcement; if this drift continues relentlessly more likely than not it is caused by those in the know, and prudent to expect the worst I think, but I hope I'm wrong as Killutagh Vic and Faugheen are bad enough without another hot pot joining the mix.

Dw I hope you're wrong but I think it's about the price it should be now. Can't have another kv and faugheen

It's just market righting itself to around the % it should be at imo. Nothing untoward going on, take out all of them at the bottom of the market that wont be in there after the next forfeit stage and your at close too 100% now.

Only 12s for the CH?
Maybe explain the drift but every year a novice, whether it is hurdler or chaser, they get overhyped and get priced up against the big boys
Keep it for the Supreme....... please

Absolute machine of a horse, travels, jumps and stays on bad ground. What he'll do to Altior i dont know, itll need elastic and a satnav to keep up with him imo.

It's a beast, Use your eyes, I hope it drifts as big as Vautour did (7/2 and only won by 6 lol) when it won the Supreme then we can have less on for our reward.

This price drift is making Min a more attractive proposition compare to either Altior or Buveur D'air I think.

I've been reading on here about this drift on Min that drift on Min, what driftConfused

He was too short in the market after he last ran compared to what was likely to also possibly be in the race and as the market has formed over time his price has gradually come out to a more respectable position. The betfair exchange overround on this market is currently 114.5% but that obviously includes all the no hopers and what wont run! Take them out and you closer to what it should be now, around 103-105%! Anyone with any aspirations of placing ante-post bets on anything should know this?

And as far as i am aware, when he was done at 5-6s the other day it was a far too eager, greedy fat fingered person who saw a post on twitter that a 'Min' was out for the season, it turned out to be some unkown to me footballer!

I haven't backed the beast, except but rather embarrassinglyBlush in a couple of acca's at silly prices but expect his price to about the same as u see now on the day and fully expect to see an offer or two of 3/1 or 7/2 to ltd stakes but talk of drift folks, am 99% confident it is just market adjusting and correcting itself! Wink

Should be odds on, Altior's been pushed along on both starts ive seen, by the time it gets going Min will be in the winners enclosure, it cant and wont get anywhere near it on better ground imo.

Still pretty weak: £1260 on the lay side from 2/1  to 2.2/1, is there a reason to be concerned?

It is my bet of the festival - i'm just awaiting it to go NRNB. Looks the real deal, jumping ability is top class and speedy for a novice.
