Thanks ronnie falls once again.         I don't normally back price wise selections but he must talk to the yard surely, and if simonsig is fit, he'd have a decent ew shout at 14s. Not the deepest race and I can't have anything that was beat last year. Gone in on Dodging bullets ew at 9s nrnb also.

NO stevo1 i don't follow pw much to what many people might think. I have not backed Simonsig and at the moment unless something changes on here i.e market speaks in it's favor and i can still get a previous price, i wont be!

Don't get me wrong, I love Simonsig - but he must be 10-1 to even line up! He must be the most delicate horse in training and has missed more engagements than you can shake a stick at. Even if he is OK at the moment, chances are he'll pick up another 'niggle' (as Hendo likes to call them) before the Festival? Wouldn't the Ryanair be a more likely target anyway?

Henderson says he goes for the same race as Dodging bullets, can't remember the name but Mr mole won it last year. Then onto champion chase. It's nrnb so imo if he dosent run very well he won't line up, and money back. If he does run very well he's only going to shorten considerably.

Had another setback after failing to beat Bob's Worth over hurdles. Can't see it myself. I see the logic in wanting to run him because the race is full of yesterday's horses, barring UDS of course. And even he isn't bombproof. Good luck to all who have kept the faith. Hope he lines up fit and well and clear of all those splint problems.

ccm - because i believe he has an abundance of raw talent - and him being there on the day would signify the possibility (only possibility) of him being in top (or at least very good) shape particularly if he attracted money on the day - the kind of pace that uds would set would suit him down to the ground - personally i think uds would still win but he is the one horse that would worry me - i guess i still think the possibility remains to see a special performance from him - you clearly believe that is not possible - you could well be right - for the sake of the race i hope you are wrong.

I just think its so hard to get horses back after so many injuries.... especially to get him back to his best after one or two runs prior to a Championship race at the Festival. No doubt the horse has loads of talent, but he will need to be at his absolute peak to even give UDS a race over 2m imo ( he looks more of a stayer to me), and the chances of him being there are slim to me.

ccm - of course the chances of him being there are slim - that is precisely why if he does pitch up it is significant - the one positive against all the negatives re his injuries is he is still a very fresh horse and may not have slowed as much as you say in keeping with other horses as they get older. The trainer has always showcased his speed as being his main asset - so if he turns up on the day in this race rather than the ryanair i would imagine that is because speed and not staying ability is still his main asset. I may be alone but his inclusion would add a great deal of intrigue to me in a race that is otherwise a little short on intrigue - outside of the can sprinter get anywhere near back to his best.

Here's notCry but I have done him any race at 10s but also backed him for AB at 14s. It depends on Saturdays performance.

I never want to see this guy's face on television again when the switch to ITV happens. Who honestly pays this guy a wage? Beyond embarrassing now, a wage thief of the highest order. Was funny for a while, now it just annoys me.

... And Channel 4 wonder why their ratings are so poor, it's a close call between him and Geoff Banks for the pantomime villain.
