No, it will OK regarding the light. If you go back 20 years first race used to be about 2.15 and the last 5.50 when they ran the 7th race. Not all days had 7 races though.

Shockster is right. When Pizarro leant all over The Cowboy, that race was off at 5-40 and I could see from the back of the stand that it was literally 'daylight' robbery.

In 1987, the year The Thinker won the Gold Cup, it had snowed earlier in the day and racing had been suspended for a period.
The last race that year was the Cathcart won by Half Free; I think it went off after 6 o'clock. Dark as eff it was. |
