The first 4 all came from similar positions out the back.

Not sure if the race fell apart up front or they are all good horses.

Thought Modus was given a bad ride in the bumper but agree Wait For Me looks the type to come back to next seasons festival with a great chance.
No More Heroes also in my book for RSA, Hargam for Champion Hurdle has to be of interest so will add him soon.
My left field one is L'ami Serge for the Arkle at 12's, Yes he got outpaced in the Supreme but to finish 4th after the interference was a fair effort and he's already got the size to make up into a nice novice chaser.
Other than that Cole Harden for a repeat in the World Hurdle at 12/1 is massive as can't see anything that was behind him reversing the places and most of the AB runners look to be chasing types to me.
See you all next March when this thread is bumped.

wouldnt say L'Ami is left field when only 12-1

True enough, I'll say speculative instead then.

Hoping for a good run today from my mate Apache.

Got him at around 80's for the Gold Cup but a saver of 25's in the Ryanair, so don't want both bets down with 11 months to go Laugh

I've had my first bet yesterday. Cyrus Darius 16/1 for the Arkle on the sportsbook here. Was quite taken with its win yesterday, can see it getting quite a bit better as it gets stronger, and looks like it should improve for fences as well.

^^ I see one firm were 25s for the champion hirdle on that basis 16s for the arkle seems fair to me.

Does anyone know if the plan for Windsor Park is to stick to hurdling for next season please?

Last I heard Windsor Park is being aimed at the World Hurdle next year.

Thistlecrack @ 25/1 World Hurdle and Douvan @ 4/1 3/1 Arkle my bets so far. Thinking about having a bet on Killultagh Vic RSA @ 16/1 and doing the Faugheen and UDS banker double but maybe still early.

14's best price now and as low as 7's with bet victor and Sportsbook here. 7/1 is pathetic.

Supreme Novice Hurdle winners aren't seen in July I'm afraid. Ruby was interviewed on ATR after the race and seemed to dismiss any talk of "winning a Group 1 race with this horse - he'd have to improve plenty".

I disagree P92 I think this one is the exception with the owners of un de sceux not have many horses I think think they couldn't wait to unleash this monster. I think the Galway race will prove to be pretty hot, but 14/1 for the supreme hmmm I dunno.

Don't doubt he will end up running in the Supreme, just don't think at the prices he's worth a bet at this point. Whole load of unraced horses yet to be unleashed along with bumper horses yet to jump a hurdle.

Aww behave Duffy, most recent of those was 10 years ago.

Nicholls canyon ew CH 20/1 seems the target and huge ew price.
Douvan arkle 3/1. Shorter price than I wanted but 1 run over fences against poor opposition and sure to shorten.
Shaneshill j.l.t 17.5 down to 12s on here.  Willie goes chasing and looks the right trip when beating outlander. Came up short at punchestown over 3 miles.
Dodging bullets 9.4 I can't be backing Un de sceaux at current price.
Kilultagh vic 24's hopefully won't go down world hurdle route and outlander 40's both for the r.s.a.
Don cossack 8'S and Djakadam 15.5 for gold cup.
Keep backing Vroum Vroum mag for small stakes for ryanair at 17.5 unsure of target but value if he goes.
Interested in paul nicholls zabayr. Townshend. And Yorkhill  once targets become known. And possibly burgas and back hercules for the 4 miler. Very hard to second guess willy mullins though.

I was joking, all those runs were when they were still racing on the flat hence why they were racing during that time of yearGrin

A man with a lot of money apparently. Horse will need to be something special if he's to make Cheltenham. Officially announced that he won't run until after the New Year.

Agree Yanworth was the first in my notes from the Supreme, think the Neptune would be the route for him this year.
I hate saying it as every bumper winner defaults to Supreme favourite but I really liked the look of Moon Racer, 8-1 about par at this stage but if he can hurdle that could look quite big in March, any views if the Supreme would be the target opposed to the Neptune?
We saw how the Supreme can cut up, only 12 runners last year.

Flung a few quid at Apache Stronghold for the Gold Cup

Loved the way it finished off the JLT, tempered slightly by its subsequent efforts at Fairyhouse and Punchestown and Noel Meade's Festival record.

Any idea why MIN has been backed so much today? On at 25 but can't see any news  or reasoning for the price to go in.
