I heard that Faugheen travelled down the birth canal faster than he had ever done before( not much movement done in the uterus) consequently he got his stride pattern all wrong when approaching the flaps causing him to trip over one of them on the way out!!! an early sign that increased pace could be a problem?

you gotta be kidding.....he never tripped over really...he met it running!!! The old fashioned stand ups wouldn't be for you two

A few interesting facts to add to the thread:

1) The last four winners of the cross country race were born on pancake day

2) Nicky Henderson is afraid of the dark and has to sleep with the light on

3) The 'pork' rolls served at the course are in fact a blend of quorn and rattlesnake meat

4) The William Hill blimp that hovers over the race course is piloted by former jockey Liam Cooper.

5) Paul Nicholls eats 15 packets of monster munch every day of the festival except for Friday when he opts for 3 salad sandwiches and an extra large bar mars bar
