3 Places in The Arkle - How much longer?

looking thru the field I would be very surprised if there were less then 10 runners. Clarcam a definite for the Arkle and I think Channon/Knight are happy to let Sgt Reckless take its place due to the fact there isn't much in depth strength behind UDS and the ground is drying. The likes of Dunraven Storm are also intended runners

What's with the small field threads. I wouldn't call 11/12 in the Supreme or 8/10 in the Arkle small and from a punting point of view give me those fields over 22 anytime.

ohno  no tiger roll?  :) and he was my first ante post bet after he won the triumph :) and he hasn't improved a  bit lol, he 's stayed in right through the year and although no chance I thought I may get a run until he pulls up !

I earlier in the week thought there would be less than 8 runners but not now with 19 declared at the 6 day stage.  However I do think UDS apart there are only 5 or 6 with any sort of chance.

I still can't get over the price of Smashing. He's shortened to 25 from 33 but it's still great value to me.  Smashing has finished closer to UDS than any other horse over fences and last time out won by 33L.  Unlucky in 4th last year in a hcp and was rated better than Vibrato Valtat over hurdles. Josses Hill can't Jump. Clarcam was beat further by UDS and will be 10lb worse off at the weights than in Ireland!!!!! 3 Kingdoms won't be good enough & Sgt Reckless has had just 1 run in an egg and spoon race at Uttoxeter.   Court Minstrel needs proper good going (not on day 1) to be at his best. Vautour won't run and the rest either aren't good enough or  will go elsewhere.

25/1 EW is huge IMO or 10/1 without UDS.  Fill yer boots.

The RSA could well cut up to 8 runners or less...
