The Supreme looks to be seriously lacking in depth and quality compared to other years. I agree Douvan has done nothing to be as short as he is but when you look at the opponents, bar Lami Serge they look a very muddling bunch compared to other years. For that reason i would be reluctant to take him on......my thoughts exactly Douvan might not be brilliant to put this lot to bed. |

With ground softish, and mccoy likely attracting mountains of muggy cash every day on all his mounts because hes retiring, i'll be taking on jezki. if the ground does dry up to good i'll take a rethink

Un De Sceaux 1.82
Faugheen 2.42 Annie Power 1.85 Douvan 2.84 Vautour 3.65 Peace N' Co 3.65 Are all relative short price horses/so called bankers for their respective races and not all will win. In fact chances of 50% winning is bigger than their prices currently suggest. There will be more market movements to come between now and the big day. I.e what price Nichols Canyon in the neptune, if turning up must surely be sub 3.5? There are others that this will apply to, Don Poli in RSA or 4 miler example. I will be taking all these on. I expect to be ahead by the end of the week antepost bets aside. |

^^^ over the years youd have done well taking theese shorties on ....4/6Fav you make a profit

At least STS has prices up. There's no point saying, "I'll lay X, Y and Z" unless you name a price. If you
lay a jolly, regardless of the price, you're just a mug. |

Dodging Bullets, Many Clouds.
They won't win. |

many clouds wont get it's ground. sad as he's had a great year. Douvan could just be another bridle monkey to add to the list of Rhinestone Cowboy, Dunguib etc but the race does lack depth.
Thing with a lot of these lays put up here is that the bookmakers will make offers on them and they can be backable when they do that. 4/1 Quevega anyone? I would say that Conti and Zarkander (neither stay) would have to get very big priced for me to back them so they have to be my choices. |

I think the Mullins team is being underestimated this year. If 2 out of the 5 listed lose I'll be shocked.
He is the master at prepping them and they will be in perfect condition. Lay at your peril. |

Vautour for me, I love the horse and wanted him to be my CH horse for this year...now though he's been moved to the JLT not because he needs a trip but because UDS is in the arkle...coming out of Cheltenham last year you couldn't see him becoming the super sub and I think he'll be beat in this.
