Does any one know if this horse has any engagements at the festival, it was being touted for the triumph at turn of year but can't see any trace of it anywhere.?

It was reported at a recent forfeit stage that he'd been scratched. I don't know if he slightly hurt himself at Sandown.

he's entered in the Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Kelso on Saturday...

Puzzling. He's definitely not in The Triumph entries and if he's ready to run on Saturday couldn't his last run have just been a bad day at the office after his very impressive effort at Christmas?

Thanks for info, was searching different sites could see no news. Thought his run at Chepstow 27th dec was pretty decent.

Fred Winter maybe? Owner has others for Triumph. Would be top weight though surely.

Possibly heading to aintree or injury I think, not quoted in any suitable race on odds checker ...

He's not entered in the Fred Winter either. I don't see why he would n't go to Kelso then Aintree. The Kelso race was worth just shy of £20k to the winner last year and looks to have a similar prize structure this year so if he won, it would be worth exactly the same prize money as the G1 Finale Juvenile Hurdle he won at Chepstow and significantly more than he would have got if he'd won the Listed Contenders Hurdle at Sandown where he was well beaten behind GLV and Jollyallan.

Looks like he gets 9 lb weight allowance as 4yo at Kelso though most of that would be offset by 7lb penalty for winning a Class 1 to 3 hurdle. He's the highest rated horse in the race at the 5 day stage and, notwithstanding issues around the ground and the distance he would have to travel, it looks a suitable opportunity to me.

declared to run at Kelso tomorrow, Intense Tango looks like the one to give him a race to me.

Gingerburn and Chieftain's Choice are nice horses but BDM gets plenty of weight from them.

Quite a hot little race given the location and proximity to the Festival...
