Out for a run over hurdles tomorrow, but i think this horse if he remains off 142 is very well handicapped for this if they go there.

3rd in the Hennessy behind houblon and many clouds who have both franked the form.

Went off 8/1 in this race last year but made too many errors early on.

16/1 very generous in my opinion.

agree, dont seem to be many up and coming chasers to creep in at the moment.

Hurdles tomorrow as protecting his mark for the National.  Wait for NRNB as may miss Cheltenham to be fresh for the National.

He's going for the Grand National, 3m far too short trip

Ned Stark looks the ideal type for this race. Improving novice who stays well & only ever just does enough. The trainer has a decent record in the race & he could easily be better than his current mark of 143.

Horses which have run in the Hennessy have a horrific record in the 3m handicap

not too worried, it was a weird race and he's a chaser. im not convinced hes best a extreme distances so would be happy to back him in this race.

On Ned Stark its intresting that the sponsor of this race also sponsor Alan Kings yard.

its down for the betbright 1st but will fox appeal be running in this ,besides 1 iffy jump i thought it give the best round of jumping ive seen from a chaser this season last time out,

Do you reckon Saint Are would go up enough to get in after winning today ? (129 at the moment)
Report ReaseHeath February 9, 2015 7:48 PM GMT
missed the race IS, but RUK mob were saying afterwards that he's 129 now and 138 was required to get in Grand National last year, apparently he was eased down to win 7 lengths so every chance he'll get 10 lb plus hike.

Trouble is, I's'pose, that just because 138 got in last year, does n't mean it will this year.

Don't take this as gospel as I have n't checked out what they were saying...

not sure he'll get that much of a rise. it wasnt a great race and the 2nd fav clearly didnt stay.
Report Ibrahima Sonko February 9, 2015 7:52 PM GMT
Plus a faller and a slip on the bend, hopefully he will get hammered for it though.

cheers.
