It wouldnt be Cheltenham without Barrys BS Tip for the Saturday that gets stuffed every year.

Its not his chelt stuff I was talking about , its his yearly "this will win" saturday bet that goes down in flames.  He put Jezki up last year when it won.

I went to the Hamilton preview evening and out of interest I checked the opinions of the panel against the results. The best performer was Gordon Elliot who phoned in and picked two winners and an each way shot that only narrowly failed to win at a good price. The rest weren't worth listening to as bad opinions (which are worse than no opinion) exceeded good and the best individual haul was two of the well fancied winners. If Gordon was on the panel I'd think about going next year. He was the main draw this year but the flyer said he'd only appear in person if his intended runners made it to the Ayr meeting on the same day. In truth he had no 5 day declarations so I doubt his commitment to traveling to Hamilton.
