Vautour Arkle 9/1 and 7/1 PP, also 5/2 win any race market.
Shaneshill win any race 8/1.
Hargam Triumph 20/1.
Vaniteux Champion Hurdle 33/1.

Not so many this season as no non runner free bet with Victor, very happy with Vautour if goes Arkle route cant see him being beat imo.
Shaneshill due out Sunday, likely to head Neptune route would be scared of stable mate if meet. ( Tell Us More )
Hargam due out Saturday should win and shorten in market.
Vaniteux also due out Saturday needs big run to shake up The New One, but expect him to go close on better ground.

Be good to hear others views and bets so far, good luck all.

Same as you regarding vautour. Also have kalkir @ 25/1 and tell us more @ 20/1. Worst would be Allez Colombieres @ 16/1 and 10/1 (RIP) and More Of That @ 7/2 and 4/1, though I am still hopeful on that one. One I do like a lot but hasn't shortened yet is Champagne West RSA @ 20/1

Gold Cup
Holywell @ 50's, & 66's
Shutthefrontdoor 80's to 120's

and a bit more of a longshot

Sam Winner 80's to 320's

and unlikely to go GC route

Don Cossack 150's to 300's

bet a few more at big prices for other races, and clearly already missed the target with them, including a ridiculous one for the GC, judging by how the season started, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those first 3 mentioned.

All my eggs in 1 basket. Faugheen, 16/1, 12/1, 8/1, 7/1 5/1. Biggest ever ante post bet.
Oh and a bit on vautour when paddies pushed him out.

My first AP best was Vautour to win any race at 7/2. I have subsequently backed him at 5/1 to win the Arkle, as the more I have thought about it the more sure I am that he will run in it.

Second bet was Shaneshill to win any race at 8/1.

Made a big mistake with my 3rd bet as I missed Don Poli's debut over fences and had intended backing him to win any race just beforehand. Have subsequently done so at 5/1 but I am totally unconvinced by WPM's proclamation that he runs in the 4 miler. He is very unexposed and won the boys race off a 9lb higher mark than Sir Des Champs. Don't necessarily think that O'Leary will buy into Willie's thought process here!

They all have to get there of course - many a slip twix cup and lip. Only 3 months to go now. GLTYA

Supreme

£150 Allez Colombieres 10-1. Lost.

Arkle

£180 Vautour 11-2.

Champion Hurdle

£60e/w Vaniteux 33-1

Neptune

£160 Shaneshill 10-1
£150 Tell Us More 20-1

Triumph

£130 Karezak 33-1

Albert Bartlett

£160 Black Hercules 10-1
£60 Shaneshill 25-1
£50 Tell Us More 11-1

I was interested in Morning Assembly for the Gold Cup at the start of the season but he seems to have disappeared. Thought it was a great run in the RSA after having not ran since December. I might go in for Hargam for the Triumph. Those 2 yesterday pulled 29 clear of the 3rd. Very confident about Vautour winning the Arkle now. Champion Hurdle bet on Vaniteux burst yesterday but may be better on good ground if they get that in March and sneak 3rd.

I took the 80's at the start of the jump season for Morning Assembly to win GC, hoping that we'd have a bit of rain in March. Then took a few 120's, but slightly concern now that he hasnt had a run or has a entry. Not sure whether yards are waiting for more cut over in Ireland, or whether MA suffered more than expected after his last run when he was reported to be sore after the race.

Currently around 100's again...

Update, Hargam did job well will be better still if settling better on decent ground, has his stablemate to contend with now.
Shaneshill ran well maybe against very decent rival, again would be seen to better effect with faster gallop.
Vaniteux put in his place by The New One, place is best he can hope for if turning up?

Peace and Co while impressive, crazy price now 9/2 best for Triumph with over 3 months to go.Sure there may be plenty more yet to race yet.
If you were on at 25/1 good luck but anyone taking 9/2, no thanks. Some on here think he is the second coming, prefer to see him again but has been really over touted by few on here.

By:

When: 19 Dec 14 15:01
Think that was quite impressive from Ptit Zig to give Josses Hill weight and a decent beating. Josses Hill only 6 behind Vautour and therefore have taken 60 e/w Ptit Zig at 14-1 for Arkle. 3 players now at 11-2, 8-1 and 14-1 ew. That will do.

My Ante Post bets revolve mostly around Willie Mullins, which has worked very well for the last 2 seasons.

So far I have

PLUS
FAUGHEEN 7/1 Champion Hurdle (largest bet)
TELL US MORE 20/1 Neptune Inv Hurdle
TELL US MORE 12/1 Any Festival Win
SAPHIR DU RHEU 12/1 Any Festival Win
GILGAMBOA 16/1 Any Festival Win.
DOUVAN 12/1 Supreme Novice Hurdle

MINUS
Tiger Roll 33/1 Champion Hurdle

A lot to change over the next week, with all of the current PLUS List entered to run, so there could be a "flip-flopping" of PLUS to MINUS Lists before the New Year, fingers well and truly crossed for the Team.

As it is the season of goodwill (to bookmakers )

I have decided to have a straight win treble on the following:

I expect them not to turn up ,but heyho lets go for it

Arkle-Vautour 7/2
RSA-Kings Palace 5-1
Triumph -Top Notch 33-1

A small £5 straight win

Have a happy turkey meal!!!

Cool

I've taken the 125/1 on offer for CC to win KG and GC. I've taken this bet on the basis

1) that I'd love to see CC win the KC after coming so close last year, better ground this time could help although his form so far isn't all that great at all
2) I thought and still think he would have won last years GC given the ground came up good
3) I really like the horse

I'd rather take the 125/1 for him to win both than the 6/1 currently on offer to win the KG. If he wins the KG then his price for the GC would collapse, and he's a must better horse around Cheltenham

I can't see it happening tbh, but 125/1 was too big for me to ignore

BS

I think 2 of your better positions are represented by your indifferent bets! I have them both though Don Poli to win any race.

Shaneshill is a Kings Theatre and will be seen to much better effect on Spring ground.

If Gigginstown think Don Poli might be a Gold Cup horse in 2017, then he'll be running in the RSA, not the 4 miler. Really progressive profile...I like this horse a lot.

Good run from Lt Colonel today, happy with my few quids at 95s and 100s on here. Race still wide open on the 1st two from today. Beat That due out next week.
Vautour bet looks dodgy but one more run then we will know for sure?Hopefully Willie may tell what was wrong re his comments.

I'm keeping my powder dry until the final decs are made for the 3m handicap chase on the first day. I will back the Jonjo O'neill entry with the worst form who has been tenderly ridden all winter on soft ground. Take the 20/1 a week before and watch with glee as the beast romps in at 9/2.

They are certainly running poorly enough to get well handicapped.
