Well, 12's+ looks a reasonable price for the KG. The Exeter race was way too short, and it looked to me like he was short of puff at the end on Saturday. A bit like me when I start running again after my fortnight of beer & eating out in Tenerife.
I'm going to have a go. If he turns up he'll be 8's or short & trade lower than that, so worth a few quid. Too early to write him off. |

Problem here though is last season Cue Card ran a fairly similar sort of race getting beaten same sort of distance at Exeter, but then ran a stormer to win at Haydock. This season however hes got beaten a long way at Haydock, which suggests a drop in ability. Hes also been out injured.
Of course he could get his form back and if a price is considered good enough to take a chance on that happening, fair enough. The way Sconti finishes off his races at 3m,Cue Card will have to be right at the top of his game at Kempton....right now hes clearly nowhere near that. |

Cue Card has never nor ever will be a stayer,The day Bobs Worth outstayed him over 2m4f at Newbury (2011) when he was legless on the run in confirmed that imo
