In what looks an open race why is this horse such a big price? Two runs ago he would have been one of the favourites. Operated on since his last run and should enjoy the ground but seemingly not a bean for him.

His chase debut behind Shotgun Paddy looks OK, too. I am already on ante-post but tbh I don't fancy him now. Prefer Le Bec and Many Clouds.

Le Bec usually jumps well and should enjoy the surface but I would have my doubts that the Sam Winner/Shutthefrontdoor form is good enough. Presumably, Fehily had the choice? Either way I would have Fehily over Coleman.

many clouds really has zero chance on this ground...

really like this in the rsa in what looks an open race on paper...i honestly believe he is nearly the best horse in this race and at the current price we have to hoover it up

a horse who has clearly suffered with his breathing in the past, he has had the pallet done and at the big odds rates a big danger to all and at very large odds...noel fehily takes the ride and i find the only problem with the bet is will he have the pace but i have a feeling this could turn into a war of attrition and this good jumper is worth a play...

he started off getting beaten by the soft ground horse many clouds at chepstow (jumped well) then turned up at the worchester novice chase with questions to answer but answered every call from the saddle and once again jumping well and beating the decent yardstick third intention 14l in the process...admittedly receiving 7lbs he done it well though...the third horse beaten 30l has since run well in handicaps off 136 since to give the form some substance and also third intention has run well in decent grade since and is a good yardstick

nicholls said after the newbury win he wouldn't be suited by the feltham and i have a feeling the track, ground and his breathing were bothering that day, his run style indicates he probably wants further but if they go a good lick with likely pace setter corrin wood and annacotty in the line up i see a good gallop and the better ground is likely to suit and he is quite a fluent mover

anyway i really don't feel he has a lot to find with the best of these and am happy to oblige the decent price we are getting 33-1ew should be 12/14-1 imo

anyway a rag who i think has to be played although the nicholls horses ran like drains yesterday

Harry - I seem to recall Nicholls giving him a mention early season as one of his most promising novices yet he turns up here as third string!

As you're an E/W man like myself, you may be interested to know that Hill's are paying 4 places on the RSA though that's just extra insurance as I can see Just A Par providing a big shock and actually winning this!

Ran pretty well but the way he faded from two out you have to wonder about the preparation. Trainer always sounded very keen to miss Cheltenham.

did run well - a lovely lane 8 ride from fehily

Yes, I nearly commented on the scenic trip but that is typical Fehily and at least it gave the horse a sight of his fences. If the horse had been spot on I don't think the wide berth would have mattered. Certainly bettered Coleman who made a very good jumper look rubbish.
