This Jonjo/JP/AP horse was flagged up on the RUK Half Term Report as one to keep an eye on and after watching a re run of it's last run it was screaming out a plot job for the Festival, AP had it switched off at the back, hardly pushed it all and it still ran on for third ....what I'd like to know is what race it'll run. It's entered in two - Festival H'Cap Chase on Day 1 and the Byrne Group Plate on Day 3.

Anyone any ideas or heard owt ?

Thanks Windsor....I see he has 10st 13 for Festival H'cap which is also an ideal weight but see he is much shorter for the Byrne.

PS - Sorry, My mistake this isnt a Jonjo horse...Lucinda Russell's

Personally I'd be surprised if McCoy chose this over Colour Squadron. Could well see them going off first and second fav though

Might possibly JP chose or ask to move Tap Night over to the Festival H'Cap Chase if he has C Squadron in the Byrne with a big chance ?

Festival H'CAP chase.

Tap Night was originally 25/1 for the Byrne.

Most ante-post money will be lost if the horse is moved to the Festival Handicap despite not even looking that stronger a stayer over 2m4f. That could generate further ante-post woe by shunting Shutthefrontdoor into the National Hunt Chase. Bookmakers love JP. Might take a little bit himself but more than makes up for it by screwing punters left right and centre.

Why would he run over 3 miles, run in Byrne imo.

JP is happy to have a few running for him in each race, so wouldn't worry about that.

We don't know what weight they will carry yet.
