It does seem pretty poor that he has been drifting for the best part of 2 hours before the announcement. Someone KNEW.

Yard has terrible previous form on this sort of thing.

Once again the ugly side to this stable has showed its face.

In the racing post Henderson says he is 10% shy of what he showed last season. What a load of b@ll@x.
10% shy is still well clear of what the rest if the field can produce.

Sadly the horse will never be the same again.

It's a crying shame as he looked the best chaser for the last 30 years.

Sad news he's still not right. Hopefully he will bounce back next season. As for people who have lost their antepost money on here I don't have much sympathy. You were only getting the price because of the uncertainty surrounding him. If he was 100% and ready to run he was at the most a 1/4 shot. Taking the evens and all the other prices up to now really was a foolish thing to do. Surely NRNB or waiting for the day was the only logical option if you wanted to back him.

Zealot I cannot believe how dumb some punters are. If the horse had been running and didn't have all of these question marks surrounding him I would have a tiny bit of sympathy but simply for the stupidity of the bets left up to lay I think they deserve to lose.

Awful day for the Hendersons all round. As well as Sprinter being out, daughter Camilla took a fall at ptp and broke her nose.

"The plan was to give Sprinter  a racecourse gallop at the end of the week, and he still could, but at the back of our minds we know he's not performing to the level of which he is capable."

What's that all about then...and what if he miraculously found that extra 10% in that piece of work...........I wouldn't fancy sticking the big prices to back up where this lot are concerned....it's not as if we haven't seen this sort of thing  before.
