So really it's only mugs that have paddy power accounts and can access these mug doubles?

I've learnt my lesson now to stay away from multiples at the festival. You see potenital returns in your betslip and get carried away. However, I would have liked some of the 24's on the Vautour/Faugheen double, which is only 14's normally.
The only double I've got on is a 200/1 one on Faugheen and Briar Hill, but like every other festival double I've done, probably only one will win. |

Been keeping an eye on these last couple of days, and they're hardly setting the pulse racing.
Yesterdays was Faugheen and Annie Power (any race) - 17/1 when it would be about 15's normally Todays is Vautour and Sire De Grugy - 16/1 when it 13.5/1 normally, so on both, only getting a couple of points. The link is below for those who are interested, so check that each day, and no need to follow twitter or text to get your bet on http://www.paddypower.com/bet/powerplay/cheltenham-countdown-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=1188619 |

Lol only let me have £8 on what a joke should be for a min of £25 for everyone
By:
hopefully next week they start doing singles, an extra couple of points on the price of one horse would be far more interesting
By:
Is this 12am everyday!!
By:
Yeah the offer is on all day, and then a new one the next etc. Ladbrokes price boost is only 15 mins between 1:45 and 2pm each day. Their one today was TDS in the Jewson boosted to 12's. Not one for me.
Their other ones have been really good though. Ballycasey 10's I think, Red Sherlock 10's, Irving 8's. Better than the PP ones but you don't have much time to get on. |
By:
This 16/1 on Vautour and Sire De Grugy is still availalbe if anyone is interested, because of the Sprinter drift.
What was only 2pts bigger than a normal double, it is now about 6 points bigger because SDG's price has contracted a lot, but the offer is the same. |
By:
Seems to have vanished now
By:
Yeah, just checked. I managed to get the bet on at about 6:30, so they've only taken it down in the last hour or so. Double is only 10/1 now, so if Vautour wins, I'll be laying the cr@p out of SDG; especially if he goes off around 6/4 like he is now.
By:
Todays one is Sire De Grugy and Conti double @ 15/1
By:
Today's is Irving and Big Bucks at 14/1 - 4 points bigger than if you were to put them on a normal double
Not to bad, especially with concerns about Vautour, and it is not antepost rules, so if one doesn't run, it just goes on the SP of the other one, and if neither run the bet is void. Might have a little bit. |
By:
I might have a little bit too - the emphasis well and truly on 'little bit'...
Just added this to the betslip and clicked 'bet max' - I can have anything up to 53p on this double!!! |
By:
lol only let me have £4 lol joke paddy
By:
Haha, they let me have £11, which is about what I'd have put on it anyway

PP Going n/r money back on all races at cheltenham from thursday, also money back if your horse finishes 2nd,3nd, or 4th inthe supreme novices hurdle, 50max this special start in ireland tomorrow so im sure its in the u.k.also.
By:
Irving 9/4NRNB & with money back if he's 2nd, 3rd or 4th
Taken that to the maximum on the offer |
By:
That sounds a cracking bet to me, might take the 3/1 Vautour instead though. Can't see him being outside the first 4??
By:
It is a phenomenal offer. Thought the value was definitely to play the front two in the market. If you assume Irving is around a 4/6 shot first four places, maybe a fair bit shorter it is a great chance of getting your money back.
By:
They'll surely struggle to attract bets on anything but the top three or four in the market with an offer like this.
By:
Today's enhanced double - Champagne Fever / Bob's Worth at 12/1 - my maximum stake is 21p now! They won't even lay it to lose £3.
By:
Max refund £50 though regardless of your max bet (if it is over £50). Good offer though if you can get on more than the 21p above
By:
You can go into more than one shop
![]() |
By:
These offers are available in shops too? I'm guessing the Supreme one isn't.
By:
I HAD A BET on the surpreme this morning AC in a PP SHOP NO PROBLEM.
By:
yes the offer is available in the shops. Don't worry about your restrictions and just go to the local.
By:
Nice. I'll definitely be in there some time next week then.
By:
**** will be non-runner no bet on all Cheltenham races from 8am on Friday.

By:
10 days to go til Cheltenham - Corrin Wood 10/1 for the RSA
By:
Not sure how "special" going one point higher than B365 is?? Haven't backed the horse but certainly wouldn't write him off.
By:
Today is the first time one of these offers has coincided with a bet I was going to have. I have been looking at the Arkle and come to the conclusion that Dodging Bullets is the one for me, and I was hoping that someone would do an enhanced price. Sure enough, PP have gone 8/1 for today only, although the maximum they'd let me have was £20.
By:
24/1 Vautour/Faugheen worked well.
Also took the 16/1 Sire de Grugy/Silviniaco Conti double, which means I can now lump on Bob's Worth with a lovely bit of cover. In fact, I will be placing the money that double would return all on Bob's Worth. |
By:
Thought I'd bump this thread up again.
Paddy's "Cheltmental" bets are back. Today's is 23 days to go, so 23/1 for the Don Cossack and The New One double for those interested. |
By:
Nice one WC. Forgot about these. Can't bear to look back at the 24/1 double from last season as I tried to back it but missed the boat

By:
No probs mate. Would have liked that myself!
I only did two of these last year I think - The SDG and Vautour one at 16's and the Iriving and Big Bucks one, so won one and lost one. I'll be keeping my eye out for them, because if they do put up two you like, they do offer a bit of value, as they are usually around 4 or 5 points bigger than the normal double. I'll be leaving the Don Cossack - New One alone though. |
By:
Definitely. Is there a max stake do you know? I can't remember...
By:
I just put this years one in my bet basket to test it, and I was allowed £11.10, but it probably varies from customer to customer. If I remember correctly I could get about a tenner on them last year. Some on here complained about that, but I'd only ever put a tenner on that type of bet anyway.
Just scrolled through their twitter page, and yesterdays one was 24/1 on Annie Power, Conti and Peace & Co. I'd want at least double that to think of having a go! |
By:
Was wondering what the 24/1 one was... Agree. No interest whatsoever!
Fair enough I suppose... Can't blame them for limiting the stakes. It's a decent offer and a good bit of fun if you can find one you like. |
