Yes Moscow that is how it works.  After the race.  Betvictor are Non runner free bet and will give the free bets on the morning of the race if you have a non runner.

Will most go NRNB next Saturday after Kempton? I want to delude myself with a fancy multiple bet but only want to place it on this basis.

I believe B365 usually go NRNB on the Friday night beforehand and a few of the other bookies do so a few days later.

Usually a big clue when virtually everything bar the rags are cut on oddschecker.

Looks like 365 are about to go NRNB, because loads of blue on oddschecker - Faugheen 4's for AB, Annie Power odds on in the Mares, Champagne Fever 8's for the RSA etc.

Credit to them for leading the way. Unfortunately, they have basically hacked the prices particularly on multiple entries. Many of these will be pushed back to the original prices in a few days. Only worth bothering if they are top price.

They're top priced on a couple I'm looking at, so will be getting on them tonight, but I agree, they have hacked in to some of the prices, but that should give a good indication of on the day prices; so if other bookies are a lot bigger then it may show where the current value lies.

I don't mind taking one or two points shorter though for the NRNB security.

Hopefully the others will soon follow suit - Although one can argue it's best to wait now until day due to the many offers that will be about. Remember, you never see a broke bookie... Best of luck to you all with bets.
