^ I agree. An idea of numbers is important, and I also vote for waiting until the Monday before. I am willing to help with the organising if we can agree on some sort of process to make it relatively streamlined.

Out of interest I looked at what the three horses with threads on here were in terms of most views.... Faugheen, Don Cossack and Hurricane Fly I think. 269/1 on the treble for the horses everyone has spent so long debating!

cheers tomd thnks for offering to help organise it will be a great help ,think that a possible way of finding selections and races could be good trends races like the arkle, rsa the other championship races the world hurdle and champion chase are a bit cloudy at the moment what with sprinter sacre and annie power mudding the waters but plenty of time to get it together and other ideas are welcolme but we will need to keep the thred up near the top and keep interest up ,and if enough join in and it gathers momentum then a democratic majority vote may be the way to go on selections , if we can make a big enough impact it would be great ,win or lose just watching the morning line on the Tuesday and bookmakers reporting a nationwide gamble orchestrated by the betfair forums would be a great crack !

welcome aboard malheurusment , regarding stakes on final selections, just have what ever you are comfortable with ,if there are enough participating then bookmakers liabilitys nationwide will be significant enough to cause shockwaves through their systems . and win or lose we will have made an impression !

yep count me in think i backed druids nephew last year from memory being the designated plunge horse. really like the idea of a multiple as we all know momentum is the king in sport and in our case small stake big return

morning lads a promising response so far, welcolme aboard all ,festivalfanatic although I will be playing for fairly modest stkes as we all know the festival market is strong and I have in the past had no problems getting multiples on at fairly large stakes and with huge potential returns ,in fact the bald one loves to lay a multiple its the singles he is wary of ,anyway this plan I suggest just treating it as a bit of fun and a separate bet form your usual chelt bets, and if it were to come off then its a bonus . as said before if we can get masses of forumites striking the bets simultaneously nationwide on the monday before the festival even for modest stakes the combined liabilitys will reverberate through the industry and set the panic alarms ringing !. spread the word ! the ball is rolling !
