Sorry could not find a Neptune fred to add him to.
A once raced PTP winner recording a good mark when winning easily by 10L in a 4yo novice at the end of last season.
Started this season off in NHF at Naas. Chased clear leaders in 3rd until closed halfway, led 7f out and extended advantage 2f out, drew right away final furlong, impressive. He did not beat much of any note but could not have done it easier.
Subsequently sold and now trained by John Quinn. He made his debut for new connections at Newcastle 3 weeks ago. Again the field was not strong but without coming out of 1st gear he destroyed the opposition, on only his 3rd racecourse appearance, by 17L. Took keen hold, in touch, smooth headway to lead 3 out, soon clear, very easily. His hurdling was slick and neat and looks a natural, exciting prospect.
Jockey, James Reveley: "He was impressive and he could be anything. When he got into a rhythm his jumping was very good really. I'd not sat on him before. It was a spare ride."
He is entered in one of the Neptune trials at Cheltenham tomorrow against Ballyalton and Royal Regatta. This is a big step in class for him but will allow us to see his full potential.
25/1 at the moment for Cheltenham but could be much shorter this time tomorrow.
...just been looking at tomorrow's race, it looks really trappy to me and how much rain they get over night could be a big factor.
I'd definitely want to be against Ballyalton tomorrow, got to give weight to all the others except Royal Regatta, form with Oscar Rock does n't look quite so good now as it did at the time, not convinced stable form is great though they had a winner yday for first time in two weeks plus he beat Garde La Victoire by a neck last time and Hobbs will surely have a line on that one with Royal Regatta
Royal Regatta's Aintree win looks solid, Spirit of Shankly beat Urban Hymn comfortably since and that one then romped in at Haydock the other day, pedigree suggests he should handle softer going than he's encountered thus far.
Regal Diamond could also improve on what he's done over hurdles for step up in trip and if he gets better ground tomorrow.
The Nick Williams horse is freaking me out because of his record with French imports in these type of races but the jockey booking surely suggests this is not a similar sort of plot to his Chepstow winner on Saturday.
The Nicholls horse gets 10lbs from Ballyalton and Royal Regatta, pulled a long way clear of the rest when just getting beaten by one of Henderson's at Wetherby and as a Dom Alco will surely relish any deterioration in ground conditions if it rains too much.
Agree with everything you've written about Racing Pulse but his pedigree suggests he might be seen to better effect on better ground though that should be offset to some extent tomorrow by the fact that his Newcastle win was over 2m 6f.
Don't really have a view on the Keighley mare but she gets between 7 and 17 lb from the rest!
So I see Royal Regatta as most likely winner tomorrow, don't fancy Ballyalton at all and can still see Racing Pulse being a big player in March on different ground even if beaten tomorrow, possible he could end up in Albert Bartlett though also I would have thought?
It looks a smashing race.

I have bet it for the Albert Bartlett at the festival at 25s. Been bet already for tomorrow from 7/2 into 2/1 - 9/4. Will he be good enough for cheltenham? Will hopefully find a bit more out tomorrow.
Quinn said: "He's a nice horse and he has done whatever we've asked of him so far.
"He doesn't seem devoid of speed and we're going to find out a lot more about him one way or another, as there are two or three decent horses in there."

Bowen horse one to take from the race for me, smart bumper form and all best form previously on much better ground, clearly benefited from step up in trip and possibly improved stable form.
