Anyone got any news on Golantilla? Looking forward to his debut but yet to be seen.

The plan according to news earlier in the season was a Christmas return but no sign of that happening now.

Also sorry for hijacking your thread, but there doesn't seem to be much happening with some of the other good Bumper horses from last season, e.g. Le Vent D'Antan, Union Dues and Blackmail.

Champagne James makes his hurdling debt and would be an interesting horse for novice hurdles later in the season based on last season's Bumper form.

Union Dues - pelvic injury - was expected out the 2nd half of the season

La Vent D'Antan was disappointing at home so was tested and found to av ulcers, treatment working well and should b out in the new year

LVD had a small set back and will be back soon. Blackmail has run twice already this season and is being minded for a bit. Golantilla I have no idea about

Thanks lads - always a few injuries amongst the top bumper horses the following season. Not surprising so many are slow to reappear. I noticed alright that Blackmail had been running during the summer. I wonder what Martin has up his sleeve, is he planning to aim the horse at a handicap hurdle out of the blue? Seems unusual as you'd expect the horse would be challenging for the top hurdle races.
