Just watched his last race again, wow was he impressive!! 16/1 nrfb sill available for the Neptune, which should be his chosen race I would think. Not been more impressed with any other novice thus far.
I understand that this race is Briar Hill's next intended race budd. AP movements today would indicate that the Neptune or Bartlett will be his Cheltenham target, rather than the Supreme.

Just watched both of his races this year Budd and the first thing which hit me was how bad his jumping was. Having said that, he won with any amount in hand last time out. He if can massively improve his jumping then could go very well this year.

His jumping was a lot better lto I thought, and hopefully will continue that way.Dont seem to be affecting him too much and weren't really losing ground at them. At the top level though I agree he has to jump well.

FF, im hoping that Briar Hill will end up in the AB,as he would be a serious threat to Apache in the Neptune.
Think BH is a better horse than Faugheen, from what I have seen so far, better jumper anyway at this stage imo.

Briar Hill is the most impressive jumper of a hurdle that I've seen on debut so far this year, which makes me think he'll move towards the AB. He could take lengths out of the field with his jumping and that's quite some advantage over 3m.

And Faugheen looks better the further he goes. Very strong at the end of his races. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the Barlett horse tbh, time will tell innit!

Yeah, we could still be having the same debate come start of March!! For the sake of my 390/1 Faugheen & Ballycasey EW double I hope Faugheen ends up in the Neptune though!!

So hard to now whats running where especially when Mullins has 5 of the first ten in the betting in every race.
I'll just stick to backing Moyle Park for the Supreme.

Entry in the Slaney at Naas on Sunday. Mullins has a few in, including Briar Hill and Vautour. Potentially a very competitive race which will no doubt cut up badly.
