Running tomorrow, looks a top horse in the making.

Still looks wrong to be trained by Jefferson and ridden by hughes.

I know the owner wanted it north, i wonder how many top classes they can watch it run in up north.

They should had at least kept Noel onboard.

Still, an exciting prospect.

Jefferson does get the winners at the big meetings too. As much as I'm a fan of Harry Fry esp Opening Batsman if you want to see your horse regularly at the stables then it makes sense to  have them trained nearer to home.

Memories of Dato Star

cor, Dato Star, I remember his racecourse debut... about half a mile from home the jockey stood right up in the saddle, scanned the opposition closely then just went whooosh and took off. It was incredible

i like oscars rock aswell, did look a little awkward but found his feet well when making mistakes.fancied him in the champion bumper but didn't get a run. I guess Neptune could be the long term goal with a view to chasing next season?

Just had a few sneaky quid on Urburu D'Irelande for the Neptune, of Paul Nicholls. No idea if that is the target, but he had Oscar Rock comfortably behind in his only bumper run, with a couple of other subsequent winners behind.

Thought it would be worth a poke around 40's.

No real reason from what I could see other than beaten by a better horse on the day. He jumped far better than on debut as well

Don't think Hughes really exploited his stamina at any point - would have liked to seen he horse ridden more positively if I'm honest. No real quibbles though - the winner looks a very smart prospect with a real turn of foot, was always travelling best if a little keen early on.

Thought oscar rock should have won.Hughes gave it an awful ride.

Definitely beaten by the better horse in Ballyalton imo.
