Can anybody confirm whether the rumour I heard that Sanctuaire has been sold to race in Ireland this season is true? Seems like a weak 2 mile division in Ireland this year and could be a good move
Think he's going to have to go in my TTF this year then he should win a few graded races. Think if I was Gary Moore I'd try a few with Sire De Grugy as well instead of trying for 2nd behind Sprinter Sacre

Nichols was never afraid to send one to Ireland if the owner thinks that is where the money is. Maybe they think a change of scenery may do him good, but apart from that one novice race at the end of the season at Ascot, I've never been too convinced by him
Surprised he has been sold though.Nichols was never afraid to send one to Ireland if the owner thinks that is where the money is. Maybe they think a change of scenery may do him good, but apart from that one novice race at the end of the season at As
Just realised that not just moving him from one trainer to another, so can understand why new owner is sending him there.
Like you say, can win some good prizes, especially if Sizing is upped in trip.
Could be the next Golden Silver.

Think the horse was owned in partnership by Potensis and A.N.Other who wanted to dissolve it. One of a number in the same ownership that went to HIT sale at Doncaster. Presume Ruby gave WPM a favourable word.
