3/1 non runner free bet with vee cee Cammy
By:
i agree a huge chance
By:
3/1 NRFB seems excellent to me. If he turns up I've yet to see anything to trouble him. His injury isn't a particularly serious one and although he'll be 11, he's a bit special at this.
By:
At Fishers Cross, the new One, another year older.... and they never come back the same.
By:
No you're right Inglis Drever was gash when he came back
![]() A New One Champion Hurdle bound, At Fishers Cross seems to need soft and still wouldn't be that confident of him beating Big Bucks with his ground. |
By:
Has anything actually been said about AFC next season? Surely he should be chasing?
By:
The occasional one does come back especially one as special as BB. Solwhit lost the guts of 2 years and came back to win the same race. Not sure there was very much wrong with BB anyway. Talk of not running him until the World hurdle is crazy though.
By:
Looks a stand out bet to me too.
By:
In over 40 runnings of this event only 1 horse over 9 has won it. He would be 11.
Agreed not impossible but would be tough. Would bring down the horse if he did |
By:
Dont think we will see him again myself personally
By:
Shocking bet...recovering from injury....one year older.......apparently will be making his seasonal debut then also.....4/1 for a race in a year's time is a shocker
Is 4/1 to race again in my book |
By:
cant beleive how some folk on here are just writing the great one off cos hel be 11 who gives a toss he gets there he wins imo although no bet for me at the moment
By:
PFN has said he has a minor tendon tear. This is the same injury as Al Ferof. Presumably he won't come back either?
By:
The difference is one is 3 yrs older than the other though.
By:
the injury will take the same time to heal though if they are the same. BB is hardly a teenager. If PFN can get horses like Neptune Collonges back from injuries to win a National and Tidal Bay to win G1s at 12 then i'm sure somethimg of BB's talent will be able.
It really is all about how bad the injury is. If it is a minor one then i'd not want to be a layer tbh. |
By:
pfn is master at getting horses back to there best like kauto star betfair and king george wins so getting big bucks back to beat a modest bunch of 3 milers is not mission impossible 4/1 is huge price
By:
If the injury is so minor, why is it keeping off the track for near a year and a half?
And the decision to go straight for the WH suggests even after this break he is likely to be fragile and vulnerable to further injury. Would personally love to see him come back though |
By:
exactly swardean, sounds like they don't fancy using any more petrol than they have too, one last hurrah by the sounds of it
By:
Maybe they just fancy going for another staying crown straight up. No messing around, it would be his 5th.
By:
might be 4/1 on the day if Solwhit & At Fishers Cross are as impressive next season as they have been in last couple of days
By:
^^^ and Zarkandar
By:
Yes of course Howdi. Forgot about Thursday already. Could be a vintage renewal next year!!
By:
agree mate world hurdle nicely set up now with real depth to the race for next year. Punchestown to go then I'm setting about a summer rest
![]() |
By:
set up nicely alright for the big man if he gets there he will be crowned champ again am sure ov it
beat all the hype competition past years will destroy fishers 10lb in hand easy imo 4/1 is no mug bet in my view so here we go BUCKS 4/1 and OUR CONOR 5/1, THAT IS MY DBL FOR Next years Show......... |
By:
A 5 year old stepping into open company and a 11 year old coming back from a 15 month absence due to injury...Cammy man you're a legend but please give this a rethink,Neither represent value at this point in time,
I doubt Bucks will see a racecourse again myself and would suggest you wait and see abour Our Conor as while he has looked useful and clocked a decent rating for his Triumph hurdle run in time that field could turn out to be a bunch of yaks..The current 5/1 is a joke price for him imo, Good luck. |
By:
Fair comment gut feeling , but as you no me by now i have my own mind and on this occasion small £20 dbls weekly will do just now
although if Bucks did get there and was 4/1 on the day against fishers and solwert i would run down cheltenham high st to the nearest SANTANDER Quicker than USAIN BOLT i can assure you happy punting GGGGGGGAWWWWN BUCKSSSSSSSSSS |
By:
No worries at all big man,
I'm against you but will surely be covering both if they show up well next season,Bucks owes me **** all and if he was 4/1 on the day you'd have a stampede following you in i reckon(Betvictor non runner free bet already for the big 4 races btw) Very best of luck for this and every bet you place, GWAAAAAANNNNN CAMMMMMMMYYYYYYY |
By:

Not for me this time BB, solwhit who was top class at 2 miles and had the reputation of being a head down grinder now over 3 miles retains all his 2 miles class and does it all so easily, unfortunate for BB that with solwhit, zark and AFC he will be facing his toughest test yet, when he probably isn't going to be the force he has been in the past.
By:
I wouldn't be laying 4s feck me I wouldn't!
By:
Every year we have been told that "he faces his toughest test yet" and he just keeps winning. I understood that his injury was only slight. Not old yet for a staying hurdler/chaser. I would not oppose him. (There was a mischievous rumour that he was not injured at all!!!)
By:
don't you mean ridiculous rumour?
By:
Scooped up another £20 @ 4/1 the BIG MAN with some york winnings yesterday
![]() |
By:
just nipped in to paddy yesterday had £20 trbl Champagne Fever ( ARKLE) 6/1 , Our Conor (Champion Hurdle ) 5/1, ( BIB BUCKS) 4/1...

Knowing Ruby I'd be nothing but stunned to learn that he gave up the ride on an already historic horse like Big Bucks, he's the kind that wouldn't leave a stable if such a horse could come back and continue where he left off. The golden sign has arrived and people are rushing to back the horse at 4/1. Not if he had two more noughts in his price would I back him till I see he's recovered. I think somebody like ruby would be a bit to selfish to hand such reins over to another jockey if all was alright.
By:
Cannot see him beating Solwhit, and to be honest had Solwhit been fit and running in World Hurdles I aint sure BB would have won so many.
By:
Utter RUBBISH Budeliea what a comment solwhit has not proved himself over 3mls like bucks has that is a pure stupid silly comment imvho , but its ur view BUCKS would always reel solwhit in ALWAYS
