unbelievable the rubbish spoken about this horse like 'won't stay', 'shirker' and so on2 time festival winner (p1ssed up both races) and second to the Monstertop notcher
Just read an interview with Tizzard and he says he will almost certainly run again this season.
Last Updated: March 14 2013, 17:40 GMT Colin Tizzard's decision to sidestep a rematch with Sprinter Sacre was justified as his own superstar Cue Card turned in a scintillating display in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Cue Card: Joe Tizzard celebrates victory in the Ryanair Related ContentFree £10 Festival BetFestival Tips CentreFestival RacecardsFestival Live ShowsFestival Fast ResultsFestival Video FormFestival RadioFestival Tipping Competition Ever since seeing his pride and joy burst onto the scene with a staggering victory in the 2010 Champion Bumper, Dorset-based Tizzard has insisted his seven-year-old is the best horse to ever pass through his hands, and it is difficult to argue otherwise after he claimed his biggest win over fences to date in devastating fashion.
Beaten seven lengths into second by Sprinter Sacre in last year's Arkle, form which looks even stronger now given that horse's Queen Mother Champion Chase romp on Wednesday, Cue Card has since being campaigned over various distances.
A local victory in Exeter's Haldon Gold Cup was followed by a disappointing show over three miles in the King George, but he was back on the winning trail over an intermediate distance in last month's Ascot Chase.
After thinking hard about a Queen Mother tilt, Tizzard decided only last week that his charge would instead go for the longer Ryanair, a race for which he was a 7-2 shot as Irish raider First Lieutenant was sent off a well-supported favourite.
Adopting his customary positive tactics, Cue Card was soon bowling along merrily in the hands of the trainer's son Joe, with some slick leaps keeping the pressure on his rivals.
First Lieutenant, carrying the colours of Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud, was stalking the Tizzard runner moving down the hill, but it was clear rounding the home turn that Cue Card was the one with a spring in his step.
He safely negotiated the remaining obstacles and galloped all the way to the line to claim a resounding nine-length triumph from the market leader, who ran a perfectly sound race coming back from three miles.
Colin Tizzard, saddling his second winner of the week after Golden Chieftain landed Tuesday's JLT Specialty Chase, said: "Where will I ever find another horse like this? I've always said he's the best I've had, the best I'm ever going to get.
"There's a lot of pressure that comes with the really nice horses.
"I have found the last fortnight quite hard. It's nerves, that's all it is, but Cue Card is a brilliant horse and we have to make sure he's fit and well every time he comes here.
"They went a good old gallop and he proved he stays. His jumping was fast and fluent and I think we've seen him at his best today.
"Joe gave him a beautiful ride. t's a great moment for Joe and having your son on the horse is the pinnacle, but then again it does have its reverse when things go wrong."
Regarding the decision to run in the Ryanair, the trainer said: "We sat down with Bob and Jean [Bishop, owners] and we said we could be a yeehaa and take on Sprinter Sacre, but he beat us last year and looked good here on Wednesday.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we took him on again at some point but this was the right decision for the horse, to let him have another Festival win.
"The beautiful part about it is that he loves Cheltenham. He made my spine tingle in the Champion Bumper, but we have come to expect it from him now."
Cue Card is likely to head to the Grand National meeting at Aintree next and Tizzard is not ruling out another crack at three miles next Christmas.
"We thought at the beginning of the year that we wouldn't do too much but he can take his racing - we will probably do both Aintree and Punchestown, all being well," said the trainer.
"He didn't have a hard race today, did he?
"There has always been a question whether he wants two or three miles. Two and a half looked perfect today, but I'm sure if it was good ground, we'd have another go at the King George next season."

However, if I were the trainer I would decide now on the Festival target for next year and work backwards to now in order to plan the route
So say they decided to plan to try the Gold Cup they might decide they want to have 5 or 6 runs before then (7 max)
Step 1: Melling Chase 2013 Step 2: Punchestown
Steps 3 and or 4: Charlie Hall/ Haldon gold Cup/ Betfair Chase
Step 4: King George (I would go Lexus but I doubt they would travel) Step 5: Denman Chase (Cue Card loves Newbury) Step 6 (or 7): Cheltenham Gold Cup 2014
That's what i would do, plan it in in reverse

Great performance from him today, I didn't fancy him I must admit, if he runs in the melling he'll most likely bump into flemenstar wouldn't he, again I wouldn't rate his chances in that match up in all honesty.

It would be a great match up, flemenstar has got plenty of speed and I think his jumping would really put CC under pressure, I think flemenstar is the best jumper of a fence we've got at the moment, what a race.!

Good to note that Joe seems to have escaped cricicism for yesterday's ride,he must be the most maligned jockey on this forum. Perhaps the Joe detractors can now allow him to get on with the job without the constant carping. Only a few weeks ago someone on here saying the horse deserved a "proper" jockey. Well, I think Joe's record on the horse now falls well into the "proper" category. Well done to the Tizzard team.
