Half way through the Festival we can reflect on old friends we haven't seen this year and wonder where they are. There used to be a trainer from the Ditcheat area who managed quite regular visits to the winners enclosure-is he still training does anyone know?Perhaps he remarried and moved to train quarter horses in Kentucky?

I must admit to missing turning on The Morning Line in the morning and not seeing Big Mac dressed in some absurd patterned headwear in support of his latest short price fancy.
I've missed my mate. He couldn't afford it this year so I'm here on me own, which is fine but definitely not as enjoyable as bring here with a mate
the "phantom " that geezer who used to get in the winners enclosure in every race on the telly every year ! racing post did a piece on himone year and the powers that be must have put a block on him aint seen him for years now .
