Inish Island for the Albert Bartlett. 16s is at least 6 points too big, maybe more. Ok, so he might not run, who knows what Willie is thinking but it is looking likely. The owners are keen and it would be madness to lump a big weight in one of the handicaps as this race will suit him perfectly. He doesn't have anything to find with At Fishers Cross, currently 7/2, on their Chelt running before Christmas. He cantered through the race showing he handles the track, bungled the last slightly and stayed on up the hill. At Fishers was race fit after two wins and fine, giving 3lbs. Inish then pulverised Venture Capital without turning a hair next time. Venture sadly died jumping the last infront in a Grade 2 at Thurles when looking likely to beat Bright New Dawn.

Inish does everything so easily, handles the track and ground, stays, jumps and travels. What more could you want from a 16/1 poke, with plenty of uncertainty in front of him in the market. I don't think this test will suit Ballycasey, inexperienced, by Presenting. Question marks about the Twiston yard, not reading too much in to it but there are doubts. Can't have the Henderson mare, Coneygree will run his race but surely isn't top class. Lot's of others looking likely to go elsewhere. Do respect Our Vinnie but 16/1 Inish is just too big NRNB. Come on Willie, you know I am right.
