originally trainer said his target supreme/neptune would be dictated by the going. With the going now likely to be soft it would be no suprise to see him run on the tuesday . got to be backed with billys at 25/1 nrnb payin first 5 each way.

Martin Kelly @Kello_MK Oliver Sherwood tells @Channel4Racing that Puffin Billy goes Supreme. Had previously said Neptune was the target but ground changed his mind

Yeah...I had a bit ew at 20/1 and although I had written it off I still wanted a run for my money.the trainer is a disgrace...said he would leave it till nearer the time but then comes out and says Neptune for a while now and all of a sudden it's back to finish 7th outpaced in the Supreme.hope it falls at the 1st

Not that am that bothered, as backed this in the any race market with hills before Christmas and again after when his price went out and again this morning at 20s for supreme nrnb but i would have rather he ran in neptune on better ground. As the ground is soft, we cant have it all ways. Happy enough myself! My books looking rather healthy, its just a case of which 3 finish in which position now and i will be collecting come Friday evening

I like my each way, my books are made up with all places in mind. Thats why i took 20s this morning lol. Just small, didnt have to be a biggy, just enough to cover the %

Bloody hell - if Ballydoyle is that miffed about Puffin Billy being rerouted (to the race he should have been aimed at all along I might add) what will he be like if First Lieutenant goes for the Gold Cup.

It doesn't bare thinking about Puncle. Ballydoyle already gives peoples posts 5 stars every time they criticise me. I don't even know if i want First Lieutenant to go to the Gold Cup anymore. Ballydoyle will break into my house at 4 in the morning and start chopping his hair of with garden sheers while singing some twisted version of a nursery song.

Well i managed to get 70 on here earlier this week when it was forecasting rain, and ive bet with the VC offer for the Neptune. Makes up a bit for the outrageous decision taking Oscar out of the CHurdle.

I thought the trainer said all along if the ground was testing he would go for the Supreme. He may well have been saying the Neptune for a while as he thought like most others that the ground would dry up, I mean they were talking of watering a couple of weeks ago so to me there's nothing to be surprised about here, unless you're surprised that a trainer has actually done what he said he would

Interesting reaction fro Bally I agree. For a keen horse with a tendency to pull the Supreme is the right race imo - well done budd seeing that early this week with the likely ground change. Tbh both trainers of MR and PB were fairly open about what would influence the decision on choice of race.

Nice work Budd. I bet him for the Supreme in Nov and had written it off. However I'm less confident than I was back then as while he wasn't right last time out he's gotta show he's back and I think other horses have probably shown a bit more since Nov than he has. Still at least it's an ante post that's worked out

That be me budd, but only for buttons to try get him close to a green 0 in my book. But i managed to change my neptune bet which was at 12s to the supreme of which is now 20s so not too bothered

Like i says he is the only one on here ive laid over the odds ive backed at. But when i laid him, i presumed non runner. He was winning me the trade fig, (untouched in the market) i put him to as close to 0 as i could, (about £19+) and then the flaming news broke! So i just went out as my antepost slip on him was nrnb and asked the kind cashier in my local stans to change it to the supreme, he said yes, i now have tenner ew at 20s so not all lost, now just have a free bet on him!
Well done to you for getting on at the 70s i must say dude!

Fancied this horse for a while, watched oliver sherwood on atr said it really did had an infected foot on its last run,but has been flying at home.Gotta take advantage of a free bet with billys 1st 5 1/4 odds in a 12 runner race e/w @ 12/1 has gotta be a free even money shot you think ???

Always liked the look of his runs visually, obviously excluding last time, but he has just too much to find on ratings imho. I think MTOY is the best 9/4 shot in a long time personally.
