I'm looking forward to it more than ever as I have reached a time in life when I realise I have already attended more Festivals than I will be able to in the future. Anyone got the Samaritans number.....

15 days 3hrs and 28 minutes, can't wait, all the main trial races have been run, now its up to us to decide what we back and what we don't

Blew my orchestra's in on Saturday,what a weigh anchor i am at times.Look forward to it since the last festival yet forever cant keep hold of my dosh.Instead of trying to "top up" i should just be happy with what ive got.Am going down on the Monday and staying in Bristol for 3 nights then to Birmingham on Thursday night (dont go gold cup day now it's not as enjoyable) but am not having one more bet now until the Tuesday.Good luck all

I always reach a place where i just want the festival to be over and done with. I've made enough posts and contributed enough thoughts. I think i invest too much time, thought and relative money into ante post betting. I intend to tone it down.

Because, Graeme, in most threads, my thoughts will have already been voiced by somebody and so I see no pointin repeating the fact that Dodging Bullets doesn't have the profile of a Supreme Novices' winner, or that Grandouet has plenty to prove in the Champion Hurdle, or any of the other numerous plain to see observations that generally fill the threads. I post occasionally, but I've pretty much reduced my postings to the odd wind up/stupid comment. I've had far too many cyclical arguments with Buddeleia, and borne the brunt of CVByrne's arrogance plenty in the past and can no longer be arsed. I still like to read most threads though cos there are some good eggs and shrewd judges around. As a result of that, people who post drivel stand out easier. I mean, wtf were you on the other night, were you hammered or something?

Started to hit the high anticipation 'lull before the storm stage'...  I can't really do any further antepost bets and I'm simply waiting for the decs before the ultra-serious study starts next week.

Sadistically looking forward to reading all the preview nights nonesense too.

I'm in the same position of needing declarations now, then a massive load of work to do! Done masses on the races I can do up to now, just itching to get the rest in my brain
