Does anyone know if they are planning the hcap on the 1st day of the festival,i see they are fav for the Racing Post chase and fancied for the Grand National. I have backed him at Cheltenham NRFB but would be a big ask in competing in all 3.

JP McManus has purchased him and the Grand National is the aim
I took 25/1 for the national for a small bet. It's a race i don't usually target, but if he goes there i think i have a sound price.
Can the national weights be altered if he wins on Saturday or at the festival ?
^ No and there are no penalties for winning in the meantime either.
That makes him the concession stand out of the festival in that case

I can't see them running that in any race. Today might just mean that JPs other runner(quantatitiveasing) gets dropped 2Ibs and goes for the JLT instead of the amateur one. He would appeal to some off 145. I think Cantlow will go for the Byrne and i'd assume the Tam Mullins JP horse will go for the Annual.
