Really? Then why the Cheltenahm entries - there is clearly a plan but typically JP is quite happy that punters remain clueless for as long as possible.

Mottershead supposedly listed the Festival headaches facing punters in today's Post - it goes without saying that JP and Mullins comfortably head the list every year.

Why should they (or any other owner or trainer for that matter) keep punters informed - their horse, their money, their business.

In the crudest terms, no punters = no bookies = no sponsors = no races/prize money.
