after watching aupcharlie's race again from yesterday I have changed my mind somewhat, there isn't anything noticeable from his head carriage that suggests anything untoward from the horse, he just plugs on at the same pace, perhaps he's just another of those that can't pick up again after travelling well to a point.

I think itwas a poor ride from Lynch myself. The horse was never going to pick up in that ground and he should have set sail for home sooner. I don't think he wasn't pitting it all in, or didnt stay.... Just plodded on at one pace for me.

Well thats 2 races on the trot hes travelled like the winner and failed to win.
Has to be stepped back in distance for me.

Some heavy ground winners or losers can reproduce the form on good/soft but most don't.



disagree with that....Irish horses get written off year after year cos they've been running in mud all winter and 'there has  to be big doubt about them on quicker ground' and year after year they plunder 7 or more winners (13 in 2011 when it was Good ground)

Super Duty - not good enough on all known evidence. Race fell apart last time and needs to find significant improvement for step up in trip.
