I think that's a good call. Depending upon what happens tomorrow temperature wise, they can either go for Saturday or defer till Sunday. Still light snow in Cheltenham but it is very wet and temperatures above freezing. My concern about Sunday is the rain forecast late on Saturday and the possibility of waterlogging but what will be will be!

I'm meant to be going to Wetherby a week Saturday, so was relieved to see that the cold snap should be over this weekend. There's rain forecast next week though; I'm just hoping there's not too much!

Speaking to RUK, Cheltenham's COTC Simon Claisse said: "Our main aim is removing the snow from the covers, we've got 40 or 50 people out there. The anticipation at the moment is that we will be able to give the meeting the go-ahead"
