Before the layers steam in with insults ( but of course it suits them ) If i look at the Arkle and most Cheltenham races the BOOKIES are far better than Betfair overall and NO commission

the Arkle is odd AP race cos already the market looks to have settled around 5 horses...very little scope for layers with so few live ones....
look at Gold Cup instead and much better odds available on here on many runners....
also you have to remember layers get collared for commission too

Most people use Betfair for trading, easy to take a price and then lay off after an impressive run somewhere
the value of recycling the same stakes over and over cannot be over stated
it seems to me that only the outsides are better odds than the favs ( on betfair) ! Yes i agree about trading which is a shame if you want a real bet !! Of course you can get better odds about the ones that stables know are not running in a particular
