Well have been backing a horse for the great race since the start of september at mostly odds of 100's+ and as much as I have struggled I have finally reached the goal...so am now happy to share...there is only dregs left as the layers run scared of the winner of this years big raceExcited

Having punted the great horse for last years race at 65's pre race for a touch, it was to my agony when hard held on the snaffle he fell at the first fence with under a circuit to go having jumped well up until this point...he hasn't raced since...

Having started the gamble and got more and more involved I decided to e-mail the trainer to find out his well being...all is well and the horse is fit and well was his secretary's reply...relief so we continued to pile in at the generous odds

I can only think that aintree will be his target again with shrewd connections protecting his mark along the way...he has had a few entries and is entered again  saturday at cheltenham(might have a chance tooShocked....lets hope the handbrake is firmly on but plugs on nicely up the hill...

I had a massive green on Majestic Concorde a couple of years ago whose saddle slipped going well and hope this fellow will follow suite(preferably with saddle in tact) This horse is for much, much more and much fun to be had along the way...its fun but like to put myself through it...opinionated and an avid form reader and like to back my judgement...wrong more than i'm right but no different from any other student of the form book...

The question is will I get out for a massive green at the 32 I wish to trade at???

Of course he has to beat 39 others easy rightGrin

but one thing is for sure I'm not letting the layers out unless I make the price

can I do it or not????????????????????

The horse is called Quiscover Fontaine trained by the master trainer...
Pause Switch to Standard View John Smiths Grand National....can I...

I also backed a few antepost for the national but the changes to Betfair rules on horses being balloted out etc has encouraged me to get my stake out already, don't want red numbers all over

I am glad I'm not the only one that will be following him in again. The only slight doubt is the trip as he was running quite keen at times last year before he came down. Is very well handicapped and will win a good pot this year with any luck.
