Hasnt much to find with Long Run on 1st run back last season, had rushed prep for Gold Cup imo overpriced on here at around 65s. Any thoughts personally had dabble at around 75s,as back up to Sir Des Champs.
Not forgotten. I love the horse but he just turned out not to be good enough. This season was his big chance and as GCW says he got nowhere near some quite ordinary horses. With a very very promising bunch of second season chasers around I feel it's time to look forward not backwards.

I'm with the others. I backed at silly prices around xmas for last years CGC and then got seriously stuck in on course, as he is exactly the sort that I want onside in the race. But he wasn't good enough that day and, at first glance, this years will take a bit more winning. Besides, the freak Kauto aside, when was the last time a horse won the race having been beaten in it before? Off the top of my head I think it was See More Biz and he had been carried out.

Not to mention managed to lose in what was one the weakest group ones of the year at Aintree. I would also say aimed at National, especially now higher weights have been given a chance.

To echo the others I think the National is likely, though the Gold Cup is a very traditional prep race for the National. If Long Run goes for the National BP will have a lovely racing weight (though so will almost eveything else!) - I'd worry that he's not the biggest horse.
