Thanks for that, ashleigh.

I love Sprinter Sacre Love
Report Howdi October 23, 2012 10:03 PM BST
pray this is true.
Report strontium October 23, 2012 10:34 PM BST
It's never a great race is it? We'll be lucky to have 3 runners if this is true. I'm not a fan of public schooling sessions on 6 race cards.
Report revedesivola October 23, 2012 10:39 PM BST
wtf is sprinter sacre?Plain
Report strontium October 23, 2012 10:52 PM BST
Sorry, I was snotty there Blush - but it will kill it as a race.
Report bluebirdfan October 24, 2012 5:51 AM BST
Interesting, very close to the Tingle Creek
Report Howdi October 24, 2012 6:09 PM BST
not enough horses run at HQ prior to the festival good move.
Report buddeliea October 25, 2012 7:56 AM BST
Guess they feel he needs a run before the TC,think 3 weeks will be ok-it wont be a hard race i imagine.

Cant wait for Sandown,i shall be there with my camera.

SS,SE,Sanctuaire and hopefully a few others, real potential for a good photo or 2.

Pleas let them all turn up!!!!
Report shockster October 25, 2012 9:02 AM BST
Hope they do all turn up Budd.  Sounds like they know SS will have to be spot on if he is to win.  Will be a school at Chelt I would imagine, as which trainer is going to risk a massive hike in the weights for their horse if it gets close to SS.  Opposition will prob be 100-120 rated horses going for 2nd place pot.
Report Howdi October 25, 2012 2:48 PM BST
be good to see the Sprinter win by 74 lengths - i love seen a good one destroy the opposition makes you appreciate how good they are.
Report strontium October 25, 2012 5:29 PM BST
Really? It's even better if they're given a race Grin
Report buddeliea October 25, 2012 5:49 PM BST
stop being silly Howdi
Report Howdi October 25, 2012 7:33 PM BST
im not makes u realise what your watching
Report revedesivola October 25, 2012 8:00 PM BST
generally too fresh on his first run, hed be better on second run when they can keep hold of his enthusiasm
Report festivalfanatic October 26, 2012 9:20 AM BST
I rarely go on the Sunday but I will if he runs.
Report Masterminded October 26, 2012 9:30 AM BST
Yep would imagine he's running to take away a bit of his freshness. Can see him being very keen to get on with things! #BLACKAEROPLANE #MONSTER
Report strontium October 26, 2012 9:50 AM BST
FF, that's another problem imo - it will add 5000 to the gate for a no contest.

Howdi - all it tells you is one horse was massively superior to the others, which you knew anyway. It says nothing about how good that horse is in absolute terms since the margin of victory means nothing in those races. Only competetive races between top horses really tell you what you're watching (which is why the very top rated horses almost always have a very highly rated rival they ran against).
Report Howdi October 26, 2012 9:52 AM BST
Strontium thanks for that never crossed my mind in 20 years of watching the game Laugh
Report strontium October 26, 2012 9:53 AM BST
Laugh I was hoping to get a ban from Fact of the Day.
Report Howdi October 26, 2012 9:56 AM BST
Laugh cheeky fecker.

I'm making you play now to prolong your agony Cry
Report shockster October 26, 2012 10:20 AM BST

Looking back on the Supreme Novice Hurdle of 2011. Amazing that Sprinter Sacre didn't win this as things have since transpired.
Report festivalfanatic October 29, 2012 1:32 PM GMT
He was weak in March 2011 H, which is why NJH didn't want to run. Even last season, he looked quite narrow from behind.
Report Howdi October 29, 2012 2:40 PM GMT
Bit like my Mrs FF ^^^^^
Report festivalfanatic October 29, 2012 4:35 PM GMT

If he runs - also in Paddy Power, but can see them taking in this race.
