Its usually out in late September.
Report bluebirdfan July 26, 2012 9:21 PM BST

Waterstones say its published in 8 days time 7.9.12. The jumps is coming back!!!!!
Report bluebirdfan August 30, 2012 1:33 PM BST
He said on his racing diary last week he'd be sending details out after the Ebor meeting to previous customers; anyone had them yet?
Report corporal August 30, 2012 1:37 PM BST
Yes - I've had the details but only after I sent him an email asking after them. Its just the standard summary of results,  order form for the book and email updates. Can't wait for it to hit my doorstep. Would copy and paste the details but just too much content.  His email address is mark.howard@mhpublications.co.uk,

jumping prospects by john morris = different gravy.
Report booster August 30, 2012 4:24 PM BST
Mark Howard top class. John Morris OK but too confused for me to make much of it.
Report muzza88 August 30, 2012 9:58 PM BST
What's actually in the book? Will def look into picking up a copy.
Report Mr Eboue August 30, 2012 10:50 PM BST
Top 40 prospects.

Stable interviews with the likes of Nichols/Henderson/Mccain/Hobbs etc

and best of all - The Irish angle. A detailed chapter of Irelands best NH prospects. This time last year Champagne fever was flagged up for the Cheltenham bumper!
Report Mr Eboue August 30, 2012 10:50 PM BST
If you like jumps racing the book is a must buy.
Report civej August 30, 2012 11:05 PM BST
Is there any other books worth buying ahead of the new jumps season?
Report muzza88 August 31, 2012 7:18 AM BST
Cheers Eboue, will pick a copy up.
Report bluebirdfan August 31, 2012 10:21 AM BST
Others are ok but Howards stands alone, extensive stable interviews, irish scene etc etc

Great accompaniment to the Jumps season. Got his Ahead On The Flat this season and paid for itself loads of times over plus good info on the Racing Diary section where he gave a good word for Gabrial's Kaka on Thursday, which won at 8-1 at Chester yesterday. Great value for £7.99.

^ He's much shorter in the Arkle market than the Champion Hurdle.  Possible chase campaign?
Report resner not lesnar October 13, 2012 10:40 PM BST
3 winners from 3 runners so far in the top 40. Not great prices, but winners are winners
Report HaylingBilly October 14, 2012 4:57 AM BST
Plus Regal Encore listed as Anthony Honeyball One to Watch and Green Flag listed as Lucinda Russell One to Watch both won today. Book has already paid for itself for next 200 years for me. Must have in my opinion.
Report Can't Catch Me October 14, 2012 9:32 AM BST
No idea tbh well chief. That wouldn't have been my plan. Think he is a really good hurdler and built for that game myself. Certainly for one season at least.
Report Can't Catch Me October 14, 2012 9:34 AM BST
That is one season out of his novice campaign.
Report Sergei_Rebrofl October 14, 2012 7:25 PM BST
No problem can't catch me, if I add the English and Irish pointers to my nagme I'll stick them on this thread too.

A mate pointed out that immediately above the write up for Teelin Star Sraid Padraig has been given a promising review. He filled his boots in the w/out market for the 6.00 limerick, this book pays for itself by the looks of it
Report bluebirdfan October 14, 2012 9:38 PM BST
Its certainly a great starting point for the season, I've had some good antepost bets out of it over the years
Report duffy October 15, 2012 5:11 PM BST
Read that cash n go is going chasing but may well have an outing over hurdles first, could be greatwood i suppose...not over-big but has really strengthened up apparently.
Report Can't Catch Me October 16, 2012 10:54 AM BST
Yep I believe that is the plan duffy. Quite surprised tbh. Obviously havent seen him for a few months so may well have grown quite a bit, but he never looked a chasing type before. Mind you, he does jump significantly better than Catch Me, so no reason why he couldnt make a chaser just because of size.

I think his biggest test will be ground as I am convinced he is much better on soft and was always more likely to get that in Ireland.
Report Sergei_Rebrofl October 24, 2012 3:56 PM BST
Fox Run should be an interesting watch, 4.55 Wor.

Report Mr Eboue October 26, 2012 12:34 PM BST
Also Wonderful charm is declared to run in the grade 2 persian war novice hurdle tomorrow.
Report Sergei_Rebrofl October 26, 2012 2:14 PM BST
Fox Run won easily enough, Eduard beaten by one of DOGs picks from the book
Report Sergei_Rebrofl October 26, 2012 8:36 PM BST
Wonderful Charms write up looks very smart, definitely one to keep a close eye on
Report strontium October 27, 2012 12:17 AM BST
Bromley says he won't come in to his own until he goes chasing, but he's one of the most promising chasers he's got out of France for years (which is really saying something if correct).
Report Ibrahima Sonko October 27, 2012 10:44 AM BST
Already adore anything by Poliglote (spirit river & spirit son) as they are usually good lookers and now an arc breeding stallion

Looking forward to seeing this one today.
Report strontium October 27, 2012 3:53 PM BST
Slightly curious run that, but won impressively in the end. Any thoughts on likely targets for the rest of the season? I think Nicholls has said he plans to keep him over hurdles this year?

As he is only 4 understandable if they plan to keep him over hurdles this season, but looks an out & out chaser

Sid James has got Wonderful Charm 8/1fav for the Neptune! Seeing as he loses his novice status in a few days how is he eligible for a novice race? Do they know anything about horse racing?
Report duffy October 27, 2012 7:09 PM BST

I don't think the bookies do know the rules, no! he's also in the Betfair market for the Neptune (pretty safe lay Plain). we had all that mucking about with the Foxhunters last year.
