i have had a reasonable 6 timer anti post for the summer classics and then off to cheltenham next year. i want your thoughts on the below :-

Frankel - won
chamelot derby evens
black caviar 4-6
sprinter sacre evens
quevega 5-4
big bucks 7-4

i am confident but then i placed the bet,....

chamelot derby evens to early to tell
black caviar 4-6 wins easily if gets to the race
sprinter sacre evens still not convinced about him at the course,FR beats him if taking him on
quevega 5-4 wins easily if gets to the race
big bucks 7-4 wins easily if gets to the race

This wouldn't be for me. I think the three NH horses are likley winners but as Howdi points out there's an evens chance one of them doesn't even make the next Festival through injury. There's also a slim chance Q and BB end up in the same race.

Black Caviar - She appears to be the real deal, but there must be a doubt about whether she'll make it over from Aus, whether she'll handle the travel and then which race(s) she'll run in - is for a specific race or to win a race at Royal Ascot? There's also a slim chance she won't handle an undulating track (even Ascot).

Camelot is the real stinker at the price. How is this an evens shot for the Derby? He may not stay the trip, he may not handle Epsom which unsettles plenty of horses. He won a weak looking renewal of the Gunieas quite tidily but not impressively. OK, nothing else has looked top drawer in the trials but there are several still unebaten and a few relative dark horses. It's not about Camelot himself, it's about his price.

Anyway, good luck with it - you'll have something to look forward to over the winter if your flat selections do the business.

Black Caviar - She 'appears' to be the real deal

They lost all credibility when So You Think came over Happy

assuming everything goes well and they all make it to thier targets  then i  think big bucks and quevega are almost nailed on black caviar should also do the buisness ,camelot seems a very short price o.k he won a 2,000 gns but he only won by a neck/1/2 length in what may have not been a vintage renewal ,sea the stars, a very good and more impressive gns winner was around 3/1 for the derby if memory serves and around evs camelot does look on the stingy side but obviously a decent chance if acting on the course  and getting the trip. he may be a class above his rivals  and win anyway ,, sprinter sacre has to prove he can do it off the bridal if indeed anything can get him off of it .
something to look forward to in the coming months . not knocking your bet and good luck with it .

good luck with it mate ,just a thought some of the lads on here had 50/1 the cheltenham championship races were retained by last years winners looked a fair bet pre festival  ,hurricane fly, sizing europe, long run and big bucks all started shortish prices and looked what happened !

Never do these long ante-post bets myself as 1 always lets you down.

Good luck with it though.

Nice bet now ,Probably pays around 60/1(depending on price of Frankel)about a 10/1 chance now.Obviously the op is well aware of the chances of a nr but for minimal stakes-good fun.
