Struggling badly as it is,These old stalwarts are keeping his head above the parapet for the moment, but when they retire he will struggle to remain within the countries top 5 trainers,Hasn't even got any decent novices on the horizon,
Bad times ahead for team ditcheat.
all his novices have been hyped up this season and all have ran like drains, italian master, final gift, hinterland, all average horses

I wouldnt say big trouble but I cant see a 3m chaser in his yard that is anywhere near winning a Grade 1 race ( Other than Kauto ).

Al ferof might be a horse to follow over 2m4f... Cristal bonus looked promising but ran a howler today.

Does Betfair trawl the asylums for some of their contributors?

He still has the big owners,he'll be fine, always found it strange how he's never had a McManus horse

Andy Stewart and/or Clive Smith will put up the money for one or two very nice horses.

Remember that Nicholls has struck upon 2 horses of a lifetime here, they don't come around often by definition! That doesn't mean that he won't have a very strong team who are competitive (and more) in the big races and meets.

I Think that ROR has every chance of being a champion hurdler who will do very well over the bigger obstacles

what are you talking about, have you forgotten about 1833 and michel le bonLaugh

Big Bucks only 9, you can pencil him in for another 3 World Hurdles to start with.....

Horses like Kauto Star, Denman, Master Minded and Big Bucks are very rare indeed and they are hard to find. JP McManus keeps between 500 and 600 horses in training at any one time but few of them are really top class. Mr Nicholls will get plenty of nice youthful prospects in every year and there is no telling how they will go. I'm sure he won't starve though

seems to have a new champion hurdler that he will have a decent few years with...new bloodstock will keep rolling through his door, like all trainers though they have to buy well and he has bromley behind him so only a matter of time before he comes across decent stock again.
