Backed Albertas Run and both horse and Mccoy did a fantastic job. Had a headache and felt unwell but watching Big Bucks win (backed Oscar and Thousand) really cheered me up. Great trainer, Great jockey, Great horse, Great day

Good post. What it's all about. There aren't many on here that truly love the sport. Like it.
Cheers Glossy. I always think you should look beyond the immediate gains and losses and admire great sport and people (or horses) who make history
The monety aspect is very much secondary to me. I'd watch it if I hadn't a penny to my name. Nothing even comes close.
I think its ok to have a small investment, but not to the point of being bitter and millitant. I used to be like that to be fair, but I tend to put things in context now. Hopefully Kauto will attain legendary status tomorrow
He already has it Pete. Just praying he comes home safe and sound.
Totally agree Glossy,would gladly watch without financial interest,but always find it difficult keeping my eye on the entire field instead of constantly having you're eye on one particular horse
