I think Somersby will win. A place bet is pretty safe IMO. Difficult to say with much certainty though, such a competitive race.

toughest and most open graded race of the festival,just lump on Peddlers in the first,7/2 about a class grade one horse against a few average sorts

Why do you say extra distance is a plus for Somersby? I don't see any form which says he improves for it.
