Let's hope he does the business on the day because it would be a great story and I can't be doing with all the excuses from the Nicholls camp if he runs a shocker
Kauto Star canters clear around the turn, Waley-Cohen's arms all over the place as he shakes up Long Run.....coming down to two out, Kauto jumps well, Long Run two lengths behind, gets in a little close, untidy landing, Waley-Cohen thrashes away with the whip....towards the last and LONG RUN IS CLOSING! He's reeling Kauto Star as he did last year...half a length behind...Kauto clears it...Long Run....again untidy...AND Long Run unseats Waley-Cohen! Kauto Star is clear, the rest are beaten and Cheltenham erupts!
Burton Ports glides into contention off a very quiet ride as the approach 2 out, 4 lengths down jumping the last he stays on very strongly up the run in to draw 2 lengths clear of Long Run with a gallant Kauto Star fading into 3rd another 7 lengths behind with the rest beaten out of sight..
