well thanks for the compliment but there are plenty of very knowledgable guys on here, you could ask any number of them for their best bets! sounding clever is one thing but the proof of the pudding will be in the eating mate
![]() for what it is worth I will nominate Burton Port in the Gold Cup |
By:
Cheers bigal, though I certainly wouldn't regard myself as much more knowledgable than most here.
For a nice e/w double at big prices, I think Join Together in the RSA Chase should acquit hiself well, and has Cheltenham form, and I'd be surprised if he didn't make the frame. And a nice ousider in The Bumper would be Sir Johnson, who seems to be under many radars, but has good form with one of the market principals that sems to have neeb overlooked by many. If you don't fancy those, then others at decent prices might be Tetlami, and Pearl Swan. Good luck whatever you do as it's tough enough picking a single winner let alone doubles etc! ![]() |

Cheers Judo - true a lot of knowledge on here but few as interesting to read and genuine as you and Joci in my opinion. Intersting pick as I do think Long Run and Kauto very vulnerable - we will see.
Bring it on!! |

Cheers Joci
OK so Burton Point and Join Together it is. Lets hope it is a good week for all. |

How the hell did you get sid james to accept a bet like that? Went back to my old account from 2 years ago just this week to see if they had relented on stakes. Tried to put a £20ew single on at 16/1 (topping up what another site wouldn't let me have) - offered me £0.83p Tried to put a £5ew trixie on instead, offered it to me at £0.03p! The amazingly good news is that I still had a balance on the account that I had completely forgotten about, just over £940! Sounds incredibly stupid I know but it was from 2 years ago when I was in the best run of form in my life, I probably just left it there because I wasn't in a hurry for it. Just been round my other old accounts and there was also £195 at blue square. Duh!
Good luck with the bet fella. |

you about harry?
what about Murray getting mullered by GGL? done my bets the world of good, del boy won his match too... all looking good murray shocking mate, 30+ UEs in 30 games |
By:
hey judo...yes just got in, shocking result for the cry boy, what was wrong with him?...good results for you...how did delpo look? and of course the great man last night??
By:
judo becauseicantsee going out on tipping line tomoz...so if you want any of the price take some...
By:
well, Del Boy took a bit of time to get going but crushed the second set
the Main Man was in imperious form, crisp groundies and sharp movement Nadal just took first set 6-1 against a tree Murray was inept in every department. Served 61%, had 4 BPs first set couldn't take one and got broken at 4-4 from 40-15 with 4 UEs on the bounce, GGL served out with no worries. Murray then loses serve first game second set, saved 5 BPs but still broken after 15 mins. Never in the match after that and was lucky not to get a breadstick. Was running around 15 foot behind baseline and GGL was winning every rally that went 10+ strokes. One of the worst performances, if not the worst, I have ever seen. Absolute GASH lol great for my bets though - not for my sleep pattern before the Festival though, it didn't start til 4am |
By:
I've already had a few quid as I thought it would shorten after you said Nina was gonna be booked to ride
By:
good stuff...how was djokers forehand any unforced or imperious...glad to here about the movement...an outstanding man to win that aussie at 80%imo
By:
totally imperious mate
By:
lovely stuff...very excited for the majors pal will take some beating if remaining injury free
By:
yes you are going to be shhagged if you combine the 2...cheltenham very important but if the money is there what can you do??
By:
i'm not gonna do any more now, there is no liquidity in the markets for some reason so will focus on the festival where there is plenty of money
there's another tennis tourney round the corner |
By:
what do you make of this make your mark in the neptune?am tempted to forgive him the run on bottomless last time..better ground will suit and think it is now a poor renewal...am gagging to get this simonsig...
By:
cant see why it (Simon) is so short. For me it should be 5/1 the field. But Make Your Mark is there for the experience I should think and I wouldn't be forgiving it myself
By:
thats fair its just sometimes you get a good ground horse who gets stuck in the mud and just wonder whether that slog wasn't for him...haven't backed it...have money on sous le cieux but not sure about him...battonier will can't win and will run in the coral cup...don't like monksland anymore as hasn't prepped and wasn't that fluent last time so have an angle into the race...just need the key
By:
Travelled like best horse lto against Boston Bob,maybe improve a little on better ground agree fav way too short.
By:
hey steve yes it did...but not sure how good he is but race stinks to me
By:
maybe i'm looking into it to much and sous le cieux will just bring the money home...
By:
the race stinks every year
By:
I like sous harry, thought the way he finished the race last time was very eye catching and he will improve for the longer trip.
By:
yes have liked him all season myself and lost lengths with that mistake 2 out...now they have figured out how to ride him and also train him, after they felt he ran his race at home when beaten in the christmas stars race...will like you say improve for the trip...lots on here knocked him last time but think the winner could be decent over shorter and was 6 wide into the straight...he has a chance but its tricky...monksland i have buttons on but is a rancid price for this now
By:
You know I smacked that SLC at 9/2 and all the way down in the Deloitte - should have won and I was lucky to get out in play he was never winning
he could step up big time here in a fast run race galileo will be a clue in the supreme |
By:
yes agree but sous will need to hurdle more fluently to win the neptune and still also has to prove he really likes better ground, it was pretty soft when beating galileos...think he will be ok but still has questions to answer...i've backed it but still have my reservations
any news on who is riding galileos judo? |
By:
still no jock booked for him - still 14/1 is nice enough whoever is on. I have gone Montbazon at 10 and Tetlami at 16 too. Just wondering whether to go Darlan for zero loss, but that takes a big chunk of green away... what you think?
yes Sous will have to jump better but I think he will if they go quick enough |
By:
Think Baldys are going money back if darlan wins the Supreme
By:
well the roulette race is tight but am not keen on darlan as think he is a flat track horse but could be a back to lay even at the odds as does travel...
like galileos but won't touch if robbie is on board...lots of money about for the king horse but think he will be better over further but they normally go quick so can go well...have just had my first bet in the race and it is on tetlami just like him and think the track will also bring about improvement, happy with the price on him...am struggling as not that keen on the market leaders but although he is rogue ish this colour squadron isn't without hope...i'm going to stick with tetlami and am starting to build towards a nice ew bet on him and am content, likeable chap, just waiting for a few to go first 4 before unleashing a few more pounds on the beast...i would stick where you are as looks like a nice book to me and play in the run and hope there isn't 5 in line over the last, so's to not have carnage ![]() |
By:
yes will do, as i said in my little notebook darlan strictly no bet
so will be looking to green up in play but only if one or more goes short , like Montbazon comes there motoring and goes 2.0 I will green up for at least half the total liability somethin like that |
By:
its a shame, had mont but down as a neptune horse but the supreme is normally run fast so should be ok...
trouble you have got in running as see a lot of travellers in this could be carnage for the in running player...cinders traveller as is mont as is galileos as is darlan...plus others can't wait to see the slick jumping tetlami in a big field round cheltenham... |
By:
one thing i will say without ramping as hate that as is very interesting that geraghty was so keen for simonsig to miss this and rides tetlami...just a thought...that i like.
By:
what you making of the RSA now??
don't like all the top lot not prepping?? upset?? |
By:
he did say it was nowhere near darlan but i'm not buying it
