Al Ferof`s form is behind that of Finians Rainbow. Hendersons team will be laughing all the way to the bank. They expect SS to be at least a stone better than Finians Rainbow. So were does that leave Al Ferof?
|

By:
tough one. fly has more depth in terms of opposition but has more proven form than sacre.
sacre probably the slightly better bet. luckily my bet on the fly was 5/2. ![]() |
|
By:
I'd say the value is gone out of both of them.
If you weren't on the Fly before the Irish Champion Hurdle or Sprinter before the Game Spirit I wouldn't be backing either of them at the current prices - but good luck - I want them both to win ![]() |
|
By:
Depends how you view it. Taking 10/11 on a horse which has made it down to the start relaxed. Lump on.
or take 5/2 worrying about it making the race a few weeks before the race. Plenty of wise men dont back ante post.. Thinly veiled Angel missed a decent price ![]() |

Sprinter Lay, The Fly Back - Simples.

H Fly SOLID AND WINS EASILY.
I am laying Sprinter Sacre just got the gut feeling he will travel like the winner and last 2 fences find nothing similar to Fianans last season, and Al Ferof and Menohrah if still standing will finish alot stronger. |
|
By:
Luke its all about opinions mate.
But Sprinter Sacre is diffent class to Finians Rainbow. Look at the FR rating before he ran in the Arkle. |

B o y le sports
money back if your horse is second in the first 4 races on day 1 max £200 back £200 on SS |

What if it wins though Judrick you have lost 200.

You need your head examined if you back Sprinter Sacre at 10/11 for the simple reason there are better even money bets running that don't have to beat 3 grade 1 winners in the process.
That is a fact that Paddy Power are banking on. Hurricane Fly has proved he is a class performer and although wouldn't back him for the above reasons would be the safer bet of the two. |

Hilbore
I would be more than happy to back the horse at 10/11 as i think is a 4/9 shot in my mind. I am so confident that it is different class. He will will easily. |

do the bo y le sport offer and get your money back if they finish second - looks a free bet

He will win easily.

The fly is a penalty kick, wonder horse, the real deal.
SS is a lot about hype, and you can't ignore the fact that paddy powers brains expect him to get beat |
|
By:
I can ignore whatever the fck I want
paddy power also gave money back if spain won the world cup so they don't always get it right |
|
By:
Paddy Power brains are not expecting it to get beat. The traders are taking a punt that he will find zilch off the bridle. Traders have a more of a free reign to try and `get one` at Chelts. They are going for it on the first day. They have probably juggled numbers about so their liability is gettable on the remainder of the meeting.
The traders are punters as well. believe me. |

By:
i cant see how sprinter is 10/11 its a joke
|
|
By:
yes should be 1/3, at least a stone in hand only gotta jump the fences to win, lump on
|
|
By:
SS goes off odds against imho! 11/10 - 6/5 area

Any bookie who does not take SS on will be cast aside. They have to take him on.
But as a punter its is great, SS is different class to Finians Rainbow. That puts him miles in front of Al Feron, that makes him 4/9 in my book. |
|
By:
and you are one of the worst judges of horse flesh it has been my misfortune to encounter in a long time Denman.
The fact that you don't have the first inkling that this monster is the next superstar chaser shows how you are basically a mug guesser. This horse is a total beast and it is so obvious to anyone is even half a judge. All the connections know it, the Official Handicapper knows it, the jockeys all know it including Ruby Walsh. He will be winning multiple Grade 1 chases for the next few seasons (cross fingers) but idiots like you are so dumb you can't see it when it is staring you right in the face |
|
By:
Sprinter I am laying
|

By:
Ok there not expecting him to get beat.
they know he will get beat |

Arkle Favourites always LOSE - plus the Hill 10-11 no thanks

Some people like to rely only on what has happened, they struggle to step out into the beyond..to see what the next stage is. They are stuck in the [b]now[/b. |

Traders do not know anymore than you or me. The heads of trading will have a group hug and say lets go for it. They are guessers mate. |

What do you mean favs don't win arkle? |

Get your excuses ready, when this monster gets outslugged (again at chelt)

Angel on that basis are punters guessers to

The thing,is,at the Festival every horse is aimed at their particular race and is 100% fit. I don't think Sprintre Sacre, will win, the bookmakers don't give money away. Hurricane Fly is going to be like Istabraq, almost unbeatable and as others have written, I feel only Binnocular will even have a chance of getting close to it and if I had to bet a very short one, then I think, the Fly would be the one I would back
|
|
By:
Angel if you think SS is one of bets of Cheltenham I really worry for you. Unless you have a juicy ante post voucher at biggish odds I would just watch the race.
|
|
By:
The fly is proven over course distance and class, its a no contest in my view
|
|
By:
Jasey of course.
![]() Hilbore I think the horse will win easily. I think if you ran the race 50 times he would win easily everytime. On that basis i make SS a racing certainty. 10/11 is worth a monster bet in my eyes. Regarding AP there is no way i would part with my money before the day of the race. Its just my way, in fact i will not place my bet until i see the horse go down. |
|
By:
The Fly also has a history of niggles.
|
|
By:
Hurricane Fly would be a far better bet imho, travels like a dream and has all the gears you could possibly have with a NH horse.
