Moon Dice I hope
Report CVByrne March 6, 2012 3:21 PM GMT
Citizenship is my play in County. did wonders to win from where he did at leop last time. Is well in at the weights on 133. Awesome bet.
Report judorick March 6, 2012 3:25 PM GMT
Moon Dice, Snap Tie and a couple of yet to be decided 33/1 + shots with no apparent chance at the foot of the handicap, probably Irish trained
Report yort March 6, 2012 3:54 PM GMT
Granted any kind of luck in running Citizenship will be nigh on impossible to beat. Gets in very lightly compared to other Irish hcap entries at festival. Had an absolute tonne in hand last time out. would be interested in him off 145 but off 133 he's a better bet than Hurricane Fly in my book
Report CVByrne March 6, 2012 3:57 PM GMT
citizenship bet of the meeting at 10/1 for me.
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 6, 2012 4:03 PM GMT
CV agree...I have a good bet in this.  Mate of mine over in Ireland (not connected to yard) has been hearing about this one going to cheltenham and they really think they have a steal
Report CVByrne March 6, 2012 4:07 PM GMT
Aye, don't want to talk to much about it tbh. Large bet here anyway.
Report TINnotaTON March 6, 2012 4:44 PM GMT
will he get in though, will need 36 defectors, think max field is 28.
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 6, 2012 4:54 PM GMT
he'll get in...don't worry about that. (gulp!!! lol)
Report Hussard March 6, 2012 5:31 PM GMT
Citizenship will be a monster plunge but I don't see enough coming out from him to get a run.
Report roobuck March 6, 2012 5:49 PM GMT
I think he's got a chance of getting in, much prefer him to Ted Spread
Report CVByrne March 6, 2012 6:02 PM GMT
He's on 133, horses on 129 got in last 2 years. He'll get in.
Report Hussard March 6, 2012 6:58 PM GMT
Well if you look at the decs there looks like 28 and more who will run above him. Just my opinion and it depends on which race the yards invovled are targetting. He'd by my pick if he got in but it's going to be a close run thing.
Report irish_guy_13 March 6, 2012 7:11 PM GMT
back him now for 4 miler nrnb
Report Tucho March 6, 2012 7:14 PM GMT
don't think he'll stay that far imo
Report roobuck March 6, 2012 7:32 PM GMT
Hussard - in the spirit of the gameshow that's part of the national lottery programme, name them...
Report willie the milk March 6, 2012 7:41 PM GMT
Will they both get in???
Report Hussard March 7, 2012 10:04 AM GMT
Going through you could be right. I have Final Approach?, Starluck, Moon Dice, Sire De Grugy, Ubi Ace, Via Galilea, Raya Star, Sailors Warn, Dirar, Desert Cry, Dee Ee Williams, Empire Levant, Local Hero, Viva Colonia, Alarazi, Snap Tie, Magnifique Etoile, Olofi, Master of Arts, Ted Spread, Dare Me. That is 21. There are some maybe's as well such as Brampour, Prospect Wells and some Irish horses declared in multiple races.

I have to add Roobuck that Citizenship is going to be a big bet for me and I have backed him at 12's already but I do fear he may just get balloted out.
Report tinkler March 7, 2012 3:19 PM GMT
Citizenship- He's going to have to
jump a lot better in the county than he did in Ireland on very likely faster ground to figure.   Not for me.
Ted Spread - with a possiblity he'll run in the imperial cup ,I'd be looking at that effort first. Very
unlikely to be any value for the County if he wins that.
I'll be looking elsewhere for the winner.
Report judorick March 7, 2012 3:32 PM GMT
I remember him as a 70 ish rated flat runner for Ian Williams in the UK. Be very surprised if he turns out to be a Festival winner
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 8, 2012 9:55 PM GMT
sorry to ask this....but can someone give me and educated opinion of if Citizenship will get into the county....I have him on here at 17s and wondered whether it is better to lay him now at 10s
Report Tucho March 8, 2012 10:26 PM GMT
deffo would not be laying him off now, nice price stick it out

think he'll get in
Report TINnotaTON March 8, 2012 10:27 PM GMT
I for one think its unlikely, needs to many to come out
Report CVByrne March 8, 2012 11:07 PM GMT
129 got in the past 2 years, he's on 133. Plenty will come out they always do. Wait till the 5 day decs at least.
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 9, 2012 8:59 AM GMT
looking at the stats horse rated 129-136 seem to have the edge and he is bang there with good form this season
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 10, 2012 10:17 AM GMT
Looking at this again I simply can't see him getting!!! Cry another ante post bet busted!!
Report roobuck March 10, 2012 11:30 AM GMT
If you feel like that SS then trade while you can.

Actually think you may have a little more hope at the 5 day stage - not long to wait
Report Shakepseare's Sheriff March 10, 2012 1:48 PM GMT
i think your right roobuck....I am on at 17pts so a little breathing space yet!!
Report Hussard March 11, 2012 11:20 AM GMT
Rule out Ted Spread and Master of Arts now. They shouldn't turn up after getting thrashed yesterday. Looking like Citizenship will just about sneak in to me.
Report mrtopnotch March 11, 2012 11:29 AM GMT
I Like Moon Dice but that was before Brampour declared for the Champion Hurdle ...revised weights?
Report Hussard March 15, 2012 10:47 AM GMT
Will Citizenship make it ???? It really will be a close run thing but my feeling he'll miss out by a couple and be balloted out.
Report Hussard March 15, 2012 11:12 AM GMT
Citizanship made it. Big bet for me !
Report Tucho March 15, 2012 12:01 PM GMT
never in doubt Silly
Report roobuck March 15, 2012 12:36 PM GMT
Actually surprised Ted Spread is running.

Could this be another 2m handicap run at a slower pace than usual - is there enough to go hard from the front. May be a problem for those who want to be held up in a fast run race
