Citizenship is my play in County. did wonders to win from where he did at leop last time. Is well in at the weights on 133. Awesome bet.

Moon Dice, Snap Tie and a couple of yet to be decided 33/1 + shots with no apparent chance at the foot of the handicap, probably Irish trained

Granted any kind of luck in running Citizenship will be nigh on impossible to beat. Gets in very lightly compared to other Irish hcap entries at festival. Had an absolute tonne in hand last time out. would be interested in him off 145 but off 133 he's a better bet than Hurricane Fly in my book

citizenship bet of the meeting at 10/1 for me.

CV agree...I have a good bet in this.  Mate of mine over in Ireland (not connected to yard) has been hearing about this one going to cheltenham and they really think they have a steal

Aye, don't want to talk to much about it tbh. Large bet here anyway.

will he get in though, will need 36 defectors, think max field is 28.

he'll get in...don't worry about that. (gulp!!! lol)

Citizenship will be a monster plunge but I don't see enough coming out from him to get a run.
By:

When: 06 Mar 12 17:49
I think he's got a chance of getting in, much prefer him to Ted Spread
By:

When: 06 Mar 12 18:02
He's on 133, horses on 129 got in last 2 years. He'll get in.
By:

When: 06 Mar 12 18:58
Well if you look at the decs there looks like 28 and more who will run above him. Just my opinion and it depends on which race the yards invovled are targetting. He'd by my pick if he got in but it's going to be a close run thing.

Going through you could be right. I have Final Approach?, Starluck, Moon Dice, Sire De Grugy, Ubi Ace, Via Galilea, Raya Star, Sailors Warn, Dirar, Desert Cry, Dee Ee Williams, Empire Levant, Local Hero, Viva Colonia, Alarazi, Snap Tie, Magnifique Etoile, Olofi, Master of Arts, Ted Spread, Dare Me. That is 21. There are some maybe's as well such as Brampour, Prospect Wells and some Irish horses declared in multiple races.

I have to add Roobuck that Citizenship is going to be a big bet for me and I have backed him at 12's already but I do fear he may just get balloted out.

Citizenship- He's going to have to
jump a lot better in the county than he did in Ireland on very likely faster ground to figure.   Not for me.
Ted Spread - with a possiblity he'll run in the imperial cup ,I'd be looking at that effort first. Very
unlikely to be any value for the County if he wins that.
I'll be looking elsewhere for the winner.

I remember him as a 70 ish rated flat runner for Ian Williams in the UK. Be very surprised if he turns out to be a Festival winner

sorry to ask this....but can someone give me and educated opinion of if Citizenship will get into the county....I have him on here at 17s and wondered whether it is better to lay him now at 10s
By:
Tucho
When: 08 Mar 12 22:26
deffo would not be laying him off now, nice price stick it out

think he'll get in
By:

I for one think its unlikely, needs to many to come out
By:

When: 08 Mar 12 23:07
129 got in the past 2 years, he's on 133. Plenty will come out they always do. Wait till the 5 day decs at least.

looking at the stats horse rated 129-136 seem to have the edge and he is bang there with good form this season

Looking at this again I simply can't see him getting!!! Cry another ante post bet busted!!

If you feel like that SS then trade while you can.

Actually think you may have a little more hope at the 5 day stage - not long to wait

Rule out Ted Spread and Master of Arts now. They shouldn't turn up after getting thrashed yesterday. Looking like Citizenship will just about sneak in to me.

I Like Moon Dice but that was before Brampour declared for the Champion Hurdle ...revised weights?
By:

When: 15 Mar 12 11:47
Will Citizenship make it ???? It really will be a close run thing but my feeling he'll miss out by a couple and be balloted out.

Actually surprised Ted Spread is running.

Could this be another 2m handicap run at a slower pace than usual - is there enough to go hard from the front. May be a problem for those who want to be held up in a fast run race
