3 days saw the absolute very best racing.
If a horse was a good one it would run in the best races.
There was no 'easy' option.
Now it looks likely peddlers cross will be dodging a clash with Sprinter Sacre and Al Ferof. As a fan of NH racing I've been looking forward to this race for months.
The new races that have been introduced are draining the better races.
I know it will never, ever happen but 3 days was perfect.
Who gives a damn who wins the bloody ' jewson ' or some stupid mares race.
I dont.

Very true. In a few years it'll probably be 5 days, with a veterans race and a mare's bumper!
A 2 1/2 mile hurdle race aswell for horses too slow for the champion but who wont stay 3m.

On a more positive note I've just been to collect my tickets and the walk up to the course was a pleasure. Daffodils and crocusts in bloom and the park looking a delight.
Anybody fannying around on a bus to the racecourse really needs to drop that idea and walk.

my first visit since 2002, see more business led them up the hill till Best mate took over. rooster booster won the county hurdle and Moscow flyer in the arkle! memories of a great 3 days , im sure its still as gd!
Eboue..although i know where you're coming from, it won't stop me from doing the 4 days.
I love it. Four days is better than three for me, despite some dilution in daily quality.
get ready for a 5 day festival from as early as 2013 with a saturday Gold Cup
Now that might be too much - I'd probably settle for 4 out of the five days.
