Mistake in title. Kauto Stone obviously. Gauvain also a Ryanair possible.
So three confirmed runners (top 3 in betting), a couple of rags and several with this as an alternative to Ryanair. Has to be e/w value here. |

Personaly I dont think a 12 year old will have the speed for this

Sorry SYT! Couldnt resist that.I wouldnt be rushing to back any of Nicholls horses at the moment until
there are some positve noises from the stable and proof, before the festival that there are running well |

If you think there's ew value to be had, which of the top 3 in the market do you reckon will be unplaced? Unfortunately I think the top 3 in the betting will probably be the first 3 home...

Of the top 3, I think Finian's Rainbow represents the most value.
As I read on the other thread not a race to be taking short prices in: Moscow Flyer, Kauto Star and Well Chief were 5/6F, 2/1F and 1/1F respectively and all failed to complete. |

For starters I cant see Kauto Stone reversing form with SE based on there tingle creek run so your effectively playing for 2 places.
Secondly he just returned from Ascot with a possible cough so isn't likely to run? Blazing Tempo beat Noble Prince over 2 miles last time out so i'd not rule her out running in this. |

I can't say I think any of the top 3 will be unplaced or that I think Kauto Stone will be able to finish ahead of Sizing Europe.
But looking at the entries, I can forecast a small field. Probably the top 3 in the betting, 2 rags and 1/2 defectors from the Ryanair. Kauto Stone probably looks more a two miler than a lot of the rest of them. 33/1 in a race where favourites come to grief, and mistakes are aplenty, must be a good bet in my opinion. Although, I'd like to know if he genuinely will go for the race. |

Surely she wouldn't have the pace Sint? Totally different going (as I recall) and different class of opposition?
|
|

Not saying she will win or place Nick, just that she might run in the race. She is again entered over 2 miles this weekend at Fairyhouse.
SYT -as far as I am aware PFN has said a few time KS would go for the Ryanair .. contact him on twitter mate, usually replys. |

And Wishful Thinking is going for this race, already confirmed by Hobbs.

Sorry for coming across as difficult gents, but this is about the only race in the festival where I do think the top 3 are the first 3, so can't really see the point in looking for an ew alternative - and this is coming from someone who's always looking for a 20-1 winner at Chelt!

i do think WT will run well in the QM,whether that geats him in the first 3 i aint sure, but i do expect a lot better from him than we have seen so far this season.

as for kauto stone,he will be in ryanair according to his trainer.
|

Big 3 + Wishfull Thinking are the only 4 confirmed as runners as far as I know. Kauto Stone only runs here if soft.
Like the Arkle it's cutting up . Time to load up on some dirty each way doubles. |

I saw this and thought someone might be making a case for Kauto star in the champion chase
its a poor field this year he could easily run into a place at a minimum before winning the gold cup again ![]() |

LOL. It would be a nice piece of work for the old boy. I'd fancy him to finish 2nd.

What an awesome sight that would be

He's won a tingle creek so why not the Champion Chase? :D Not even the great Moscow could win it at 12 though :-(
